Yes! If you live in an area with lots of bugs flying around, you may have a bug zapper. People generally put these things nearby where they lounge outdoors. And if you've watched a bug zapper at work, you may have noticed that the bugs basically explode when they come in contact with the zapper. It makes that bzzzz, phhhht! sound. Fwapp! ZZZZT! And what happens when something explodes? Why, it flies apart in various directions, in many little bits and pieces.
Okay, so, don't put your bug zapper anywhere near your barbecue setup. This is important!!!!!! Because chances are that your lovely barbecue foods will get a lot of "extra special" seasonings rained down upon them. I mean, some people want the extra protein and seasonings, but you may not want them.
Ewwww!!

for every 100 calls a telemarketer makes, they'll make about 10-12 'contacts' and 3-4 deals. its these 3-4 deals that is worth it
why? cuz its these 3-4 peopel that actually CAN benefit from a lower mortgage rate, loan, etc etc.
i know, i worked as one for a few weeks. its just like any other job - defense attys, maintenance at hospitals (as in, ur dieing in bed, yet some bitch comes in trying to mop), etc etc - u need em.
might i add. theres a big difference between 1) charity 2) business 3) scams..
obvoiusly 3 is the shitty one... and im not sure anyone can actually say you can do 'better' than in telemarketing.. is that to say Mackey D's is better? a lot of times, telemarketing is the bottom end position for a big company, that is, u start doing the shit, show ur worthy/dedicated... then work ur way up. great way to get in.... even with a degree a lot of times u hafto start this way.

not a lot of jobs have you dealing with rejection the way this one does ..if you are a 'sensitive' type it could completely destroy you ..
personally, i'd rather work at McDonalds .. at least people came to see you to get something they want !

couple of years ago during summer at work, we had a wasps nest in the roof above the works canteen, they were finding their way through the air conditioning system and flying in through the ducts in the ceiling. Unlucky for them, there were a few bug zappers around on the walls, it was amusing watching the bliters flying into it and getting fried... made a mess of the metal guards as they wernt exploding or flying off that much, but sticking and buring on the metal.
