downside

To spark a fresh conversation, I'd like to ask for some original ideas that the members of this forum might have for a horror movie, book, television show or whatever. I'm sure we've all had ideas as to what would be a great idea, but we've never had anywhere to share those ideas.
Your idea can be suspense or horror, or creature based, or whatever, just so long as it falls under the horror genre.
Try to keep it simple, and expect helpful critique from others. And yes, "that sucks" is not helpful, so try to keep it factual or at least polite.
Here's you're chance to entertain others, if even for a second.
And of course, here's an example of one of mine, just to get the ball roll:
A small plane makes an emergency landing in a tropical region, stranding the six passengers and one pilot on a small island. Days pass without word from a rescue team, and the group slowly comes to terms that they are lost and must survive on this island until someone can find them. As they make comfortable with their surroundings, they find deserted areas that look to have been recently populated. They find small villages, a small airstrip and even a beachside resort, all of which appear to have just recently become abandoned. As the group struggles to understand where they are, how they will get home and how they will survive, they realize that they may not be as alone as thought. Each new area brings them closer to the grim truth: something else inhabits this island and it wants to be alone.
Although this general idea seems to be a good start, I really keep changing my mind as to what I'd like to see "it" be. The choices have changed from a breed of ogre to a lost tribe, to a million other things. Still it has all the confusion, some suspense, and even the feeling of being secluded. It'd be interesting if I could mold it a little better. Hopefully, submission on this Thread will be a little more thought out than this.
