i was almost forced to choose this for real ...
when my 1st marriage was coming to an obvious conclusion i was faced with the reality that we were going to have to sell the house and i would need to move into an apartment.
I started to look at all my junk to see what i woul dhave to cut back on .. i had tons of movies i was going to get t rid of ... and most of the books .. but i couldn't bring myself to get rif of a single album.
so for me - if i had to choose - i woul dhave to live without movies.
Gotta have the music.
in the end i got to keep the house .. she just wanted cash so i got a loan to buy her out - so i never had to move ..

a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do :)
Given the choice, I would say I'd give up the movies. I have music on pretty much all the time and would miss it much.
Just glad you didn't include beer in the choices.:D

I'd ditch movies. I drive to classes and work and if I don't great to scream along to my songs with the windows down then I'm funna be pissed.

I would give up almost anything before music, music has never and probably will never be bettered as a form of self-expression, funnily enough, the only thing music does not do as much is scary music, but there is always big scary organ music.

I would take the movies, because many of my favorites songs are featured in movies, some have the entire things. Examples:
Dark and Long: Trainspotting (Renton coming off of smack)
Golgotha Tenement Blues: The Crow
Closer (precursor): Se7en's intro
AND, many movies play entire songs during the credits. Shit, i still love listening to "You could be Mine" at the end of Terminator 2

I would have to choose movies. Alot of my favorite songs are featured in movies so I wouldn't totally be out of music.
Movies over music. Like others have stated, movies have music...and technically, Music DVD's can be counted as movies...so I win!
