I was just wondering, is the U.S. the number one producer of serial killers? I was trying to think of some internationaly known killers and I couldn't think of too many. Jack the Ripper is about it. Instead of doing my own research, I came here! Who was Canada's number one grusome killer?

I pullde this off a site I found on Google.

The US produces more serial killers than any other country. Up to 85% of the world's serial killers are in America. According to an FBI Behavioral Unit study serial killing has climbed to an almost 'epidemic proportion'. At any given time there are an estimated 20 - 50 active serial killers. Those who change their targets, methods, are often never identified.

We're #1! We're #1 We're #1!

Serial killers are so 1970's.
America is still very very tame compared to many other third world countries i.e. el Salvadore, Brasil, Russia.

Being that the US is one of the leaders of the free world (And one of the most developed and technologically advanced countries in the world), it should go without saying that third world countries have it worse than us.

I still wouldn't call the US tame though. Look at the murder rate in the US compared to other first world nations. We kill faaaaar and away more people on any given day than any other major free country.

Freedom has it's downside, and that is that a clear majority of people are completely self-serving assholes.

Not my fault though, and i wouldnt give up the freedom for any degree of warm and fuzzy. PLus, it's not like communists dont have violent crime.

Andrei Chickatilo killed over 50 people in Russia during the last days of communism.

I would. The United States is the third largest country in the world. Just under China and India. With that many people, industrialized or not, you are bound to have different levels of crime. Which may seem like a lot to you, pales in comparison to other nations. Try telling someone from Israel, a very successful "technologically advanced country," that its more dangerous living in America, than Israel, and he'll roll his eyes at you.

Australia's William MacDonald.

Javed Iqbal of Pakistan, with around 100 kills.

Pedro Lopez of Southern America, raped and murder over 300 girls, ages 6-13.

Havent read about William Mcdonald

but i am familiar with Javed and Pedro. Funny how in both cases, 1 person single handedly increases a country's average...

William McDonald, from what I understand, only killed a few people, 5, I think- which I am sure is still a considerable amount, being from Sydney.

Considering i have never killed anyone, i would definately say killing 5 is pretty considerable. i caertainly wouldnt invite him over for coffee.

Check your facts.

As you can see, the US has a drastically higher murder suicide count among teens than any other civilized nation.

I did. The fact of the matter is we were talking about SERIAL KILLERS, not "rates of firearm-related deaths among children" dumb-ass. You did stray earlier to the rates of violence from one country to another, but its safe to assume your mind strays a lot, as it clearly shows.

Yes, a higher murder suicide rate. So why don't you start a thread about SUICIDE RATES for teenagers. Remember this thread is about SERIAL KILLERS. I swear, your mind does stray, no wonder many people like you kill themselves.

And all that goes to show is how weak Americans, emotionally, really are. All these third world countries, people living in huts, starving, unclothed, yet the will and strength to live. They don't have an epidemic of suicide just because their favorite sitcom was cancelled, or their g/f dumped them.
Many Americans are cry babies. We just don't know how really good we got it.

Look at the title of the thread newbie. We are talking about the variance of violence from one country to another.

My mind strays sometimes, but that's totally irrelevant because, in this circumstance, my mind is exactly along the topic of conversation and you, obviously, don't know what you are talking about.

I swear, your mind recylces alot since you said the same damn thing twice. Is this thread titled 'Serial Killers' or something? Oh wait, no... It's 'What's your country's death rate?'

And all that goes to show is how weak Americans, emotionally, really are. All these third world countries, people living in huts, starving, unclothed, yet the will and strength to live. All it goes to show is that the murder rate is higher in the US than other civilized nations by a longshot, which is the point I was trying to make. (True, this particular graph is dealing with firearms and teens, but if you really insist on me doing research to prove you wrong, that can be arranged.)

Definition: Total recorded intentional homicides, completed. Crime statistics are often better indicators of prevalence of law enforcement and willingness to report crime, than actual prevalence.

Amount

1. India 37,170 (1999)
2. Russia 28,904 (2000)
3. Colombia 26,539 (2000)
4. South Africa 21,995 (2000)
5. Mexico 13,829 (2000)
6. United States 12,658 (1999)
7. Venezuela 8,022 (2000)
8. Thailand 5,140 (2000)
9. Ukraine 4,418 (2000)
10. Indonesia 2,204 (2000)

Those are the 10 countries that have the most numbers of murders yearly. (These stats are from 99 and 2000.) The US is 6th. Of the top 10, the US is the only one I would consider fully industrialized. (Parts of India are, parts aren't. Same with South Africa.)

Anyways, no matter how you look at it, the USA has a higher amount of murders yearly than any other civilized nations. (Unless you count India, but then you still have to factor in their enormously larger population.)

And as for this thread being about serial killers, I already addressed that in the first reply. 85% come from the US.

India is industrialized dipshit. India has an economy ranked as the fourth largest in the world and recorded the second-fastest annual growth rate. So talk all you want about America being so "violent", better yet, try it in Palestine.

And you must be a "newbie."
Since when is a title of a thread relevant?
Its the question they ask once you click the "attractive" heading.
I swear, home schooling was not a good option for you.

"I was just wondering, is the U.S. the number one producer of serial killers? I was trying to think of some internationaly known killers and I couldn't think of too many. Jack the Ripper is about it. Instead of doing my own research, I came here! Who was Canada's number one grusome killer?"

I'll give you another example...
If I were to make a thread entitled:

"Who likes the dick more, bwind or his father?"

Then once you clicked it, it read:

"Bwind is such a dumbfuck, I swear the kid thinks people will take him seriously. They don't in the world, what makes him think they will via the internet? He needs to find a life that consists of not powering on a personal computer."

Most replies to that thread would be of people defending you, and a few dumb fucks sarcastically flaming you........

The point is, NO ONE would even care to mention the "dick sucking daddy" part, remember, the title? They answer to the question/statement that is written once you open the thread.

So, calling people a "newbie", clearly shows that you're a dumb-ass.

That whole post clearly shows that you're a dumbass, but especially this sentence....

Since when is a title of a thread relevant?

How long have you been here? How the fuck do you think you are some sort authority of what goes on here? You have like 40 fucking posts and you are trying to scold people for straying from the question asked in the first post all the way over to the topic of the post? Are you fucking serious?

As for India...like I said parts of it are largely civilized and parts of it aren't. About half of that economy is from the rural areas (You know? Desert and mountain ranges.) and gained by means of traditional village farming, modern agriculture, and handicrafts. About 50% of the country is still living in the second world.

As for the rest of your queer ass newbie fantasy about me and my dad, get a fucking life. If I were going to bother dignifying it with a response, I'd mention how stupid it is that you would base your entire arguement on a hypothetical situation that you daydreamed up about me and my dad. Then you spoke for a whole forum of people who you don't even know and told me how they'd respond. Real intelligent, persuasive case you've built for yourself. Dumbfuck.

What are you? 15?

There should be an option on the bottom of my post that says "profile," click it, and it says my birthdate. If you can't figure it out, it clearly states I am 25.
The same age your mom was on your 15th birthday.

Yeah I'm sure I'm not 15, you fuckin' idiot. I'm fairly certain that most people would agree that 'Your momma' jokes are quite a bit less mature than posting a fuking picture on a forum.

You're 25? And you are still telling 'Your momma' jokes? If serial killers are 1970's, then that is most definately 1990's.

Dude, fuck you. You're a retard. Your arguements are poorly thought out and every time I explain how you are wrong (Or disagree with you for that matter.), you simply change the subject or avoid what I'm saying by posting some sort of stupid ass jokes from the 1990's.

If you don't normally respond to people who 'feel the need to resort to posting pictures', then maybe that's the way to go. I'll just post a picture with every post and never have to bother with your stupid ass, illogical arguements again.
