two quick things... #1 Alfred Hitchcock was amazing. Have you guys seen the episode of AHP "Poison"? If anyone else directed that it would have sucked. Yes, even your favorite director. They no longer run reruns on any of the channels I get, which brings me to #2
#2 I don't watch TV anymore because all my favorite shows get canceled. :(

everything on adult swim but the anime
Seinfeld
the Simpsons
Tales from the Darkside
Twilight Zone
Tales from the Crypt
the Wonder Years
America's Funniest Home Videos (I never get enough of seeing people getting hurt)
Behind the Music
Night Gallery
Unsolved Mysteries (just the ghost-y ones. I change the channel if it's nothing but missing persons or robberies or unsolved murder)
Baseball Tonight (I would list Chicago Cubs games, but they're not really a show)
I guess that's probly about it for shows that I always stop on if they're on. I watch quite a few cartoons, but I didn't wanna look like a geek and have the majority of my list be cartoons.

I've already discussed many of these shows over time, but I may as well jump in here too.
I cannot bring down to ONE tv show...I feel that doing this would be not giving enough credit to the other shows, which I also love.
For the same reason, I will not elect a "favourite" movie.
So, here's some shows that for various reasons I've enjoyed greatly:
The Nowhere Man
Firefly
The Prisoner (just started watching it...classic...)
American Gothic
Kindred: The embraced
Coupling
The short lived, but excellent MTV spider-man animated series.
Alias
Thundercats (hey...I was a kid)
Invader Zim
Cold Case
I'm sure there's a few I've forgot, but yeah, that's what came to mind.

Yep, I certainly will. Looking forward to it. I was so mad when that show got the axe, it wasn't even given a chance (of course, that happens a lot to good television). I was really surprised to hear this was going to happen, to the truth.

Not to mention it was one of the finest written peices of science fiction to have come out, in like...ages...They say everyone in the cast has signed a contract inclusive of 2 potential sequels, and going on popularoty and interest raised, MAYBE another series.
One can only hope.

I agree. At the time, it was definitely one of the more unique, if not the most unique, shows on television.
But that sounds promising. I'm glad this one just didn't fade away like most of the cancelled shows with great potential do.
Which brings me to another show that I enjoyed that got axed very quickly: Brimstone.

this is a hard one to decide because i love charmed, x files, sometimes angel, tales from the crypt, family guy, smallville, and will and grace i love jack. i also love that's so raven, anything on amc well almost, what i don't understand about amc is when they show the series about halloween they never show one two or three they go right into four and five why bother show a marathon if they aren't going to show all of them well anyway i got side tracked sorry and i like much more no time to list more!

Come on people, who else loves this show?
I've spent over $300.00 on it, and I'm next to positive I'll spend another 200 on the final two seasons when they come out. All worth it for this great show.
If you can, check out the pilot, most people I show it to get hooked right off the bat.
Also, Curb Your Enthusiasm, another series I have bought every season of. Its pretty damn funny.
I also dug MASH a lot growing up, the balance of dark comedy and drama struck a chord in me. Dark Shadows is another childhood one. Twin Peaks! gotta buy the dvds.. There are a bunch more I'm not gonna talk about.

It has been my favorite show for almost 15 years! When I was in middle school, I use to carry a picture of them in my backpack. I would spend hours copying down their lines in my notebook, and memorizg them. I still love em!
