Thank you but I don't think that's it. The women inherits a house from her mother or aunt and it turned out it used to be a bordello and is haunted by the former residents.

Thank you. It's driving me nuts too. I tired searching for it and came up with nothing. I can't even recall the female leads name.

You'll have to forgive newb for his stupidity. He tries to be clever some times and comes off looking more like an ass.

The movie of which you speak wouldn't be "The Haunting of Julia" aka "Full Circle" by any chance. Starring Mia Farrow.

No, it's none of those. I even tried searching in Brimstone.org and came up with nothing.

Yes, I remember it being a very short title.

LOL no shit, actually haven't drank much here lately....

Pneumonia fucking sucks, worse I have ever been sick...I guess one good thing came out of it though, it made me quit smoking, haven't had one in over a month now.

They did have me fucked up on cough medicine with codiene and pain pills for all the chest pains I had though...

Yeah yeah yeah!!!! I remember seeing this on cable a loooooong time ago. Writer chick. Creepy old house. Nice location. Boring as hell. I was trying to remember the name, and it's "The Nesting." There is a video store down the street that has a beat up old VHS copy of this! I can get popcorn and relive old times!

I remember it as being really scary but I was 12 when it came out so who knows. I can't seem to find a copy on DVD. I may order the VHS version just to see if I still find it as scary.

Generally speaking, I find that anything you liked when you were a kid ends up being fun when you revisit it later as an adult. Sometimes you enjoy it more, sometimes you're shocked you enjoyed it then in the first place, but the re-experiencing of it is never empty.

I know exactly what you mean. I recently came across a copy of the old TV movie "Don't be Afraid of the Dark". As a child I was terrified of the little creatures in the movie. I just rewatched it and laughed through most of it.

"The Shuttered Room" [1967]did it for me when I was kid. I even had a nightmare about it.
When I visited it as an adult I found it pretty tame and actually not a good movie at all.Although Carol Lynley was in it....I had a crush on her when I was but a boy.

Trilogy of Terror still gives me the creeps. LOL.

Does anyone remember a movie that was set in a house... and it had a guy doing a lot of stuff.. And than after that, there was this other guy that was doing other things , while that another guy was doing all that stuff. and than this crazy lady started yelling. Everyone freaked out and it was crazy. Than at the end of the movie.. everyone ate cake. does anyone remember that?

Did any of you see that kids/teen flic called "Witch's Sister?" I would like to see that again, actually, since we're talking about childhood movies.
