Why wait Cheeba?...Give it to me...You can do this better than I can...You have a far more intense and sickly twisted imagination than I have...So...What have YOU got?

I know I write Rayne, but I was referring to the upcoming movie release of "Dark Wonderland" which is presently the working title for the movie adaption of the "Alice" game which was like a fucked up twisted sequel to Alice in wonderland...

How ya been anyway Rayne?...we seem to have kinda dropped out, u and me...Hope all is cool on your end...
Where would I take an Alice in wonderland thang? Well, blow off the game adaption, 'cos I'd want this baby to be all mine...
I'll give it a start off the top o' my head...
OK, set in in modern day, our girl aint called alice, I personally like Felicia for a name, rich parents, ignored rebel girl who's had her ins and outs with the law, about 17-18 years old with a sexy kinda bad-girl look...into witchcraft...
Parents buy old house as "investment", go on a year long holiday, leaving our girl up in there to fix the joint up....after being there alone for a while, she decides she pretty much likes it how it is with all the cobwebs, creaking floorboards, weird shadows and of course, the squeeking doors.
So, she stays there, as it is….is woken by a thump within the roof, grabs a flashlight to have a look, (cue the “tension” music…) climbs up into what turns out to be a storage area full of occult
Artefacts and books…etc, and her being the girl she is, sits cross legged up in there, and starts going through the books, finding a few that date back to like…well, really far back. She comes across an unmarked book that looks waaay older than the rest, and starts reading.
As it turns out, the book is a tale of a young girl slightly resembling Alice in wonderland, no names that’d infringe copywright at all tho…heh-heh, but also goes into depth about a war waged against a tyrannical kingdom (with some reeealy macabre illustrations), where many lives were lost including the evil queens, Also goes on to tell about her sorceror stepping into power upon her demise, using his power along with the dead queens, and making himself one mean motherfucker in doing so, turns everything demon/evil (hellraiser style)….The small group of “people” (lead by “Alice”) who survived the battle are simply overpowered, and then disappeared. As Felicia turns the page, she finds that the book is incomplete…turns a few more pages, and eventually find a picture of some bars that seem quiet 3-dimensional…she runs her
Fingers across them, and they actually seem to solidify, she then realises she can’t remove her hands from the bars, and starts to scream, no sound comes out, and suddenly, she blacks out.
When she awakens, her vision comes back slowly, and the first thing she can focus on is bars,
When her vision comes back round, she sees that the bars are part of a door of a stone room..
More things appear in her vision, she realises she’s in the corner of some kind of cell, curled up, holding her knees…voices start very quietly and get louder. Felicia then turns towards the sound to see she’s not alone in the cell, and amidst 5 other figures hidden in the dark. She gasps when she sees them , and this draws their attention.
They too seem surprised, and whisper among themselves…..she hears the words “it could be a trick”, “it’s been 5 years, and she hasn’t said a word”, “this is not possible”….then she sees a pair of red eyes start shining from a corner, as they get closer, she sees that they belong to a rather large man with cat-like shining red eyes, and fangs…. “Cat, no….don’t” she hears another female voice say…..
Still the huge cat-thing approaches, and says “So captain, how the fuck are we gonna get out of here?!?”
Ok, so, there’s my start, didn’t feel much like elaborating beyond that, so, that’s my intro , my Cheshire cat, and my alternate history Alice in wonderland….
Of course, her witchcraft would come into it…a few more alternate characters….lots more violence, but, I think that’ll give u enough of an example to see where I’d go with it, Rayne.

i rented this video which was supposed to be this footage taken by some teens in the area inhabited by the NEW JERSEY DEVIL. It was fictional footage like blair witch , and the kids died in the movie. but there is an actual legend of the New Jersey Devil which is one hundred or more years old and is still believed in by many people today. its supposed to be a mythical creature.
i remember this childrens movie called WITCHES, it is a scary twist on witch legends..
also some contemporary movies like darkness falls are sort of fairy talesy....

I hate to admit it,but I own that one...actually,It's not too bad for a KIDS' movie...But,it sure has nothing to offer for gorehounds and gibs fans...
As for fairy tale/horror movies...They need to get George Romero,Wes Craven, and John Carpenter to do a "Hansel and Gretel" where they identify with the poor old witch...join her coven...and end up sacrificing and eating their parents...I guess you would have to change the story...a little...
I was thinking about that the other day....
Hansel and Gretel would be a great horror film, and there are so many directions that the story could go.
Some of you film students and hobbyists, should maybe go for it.
