Actually, I liked it--It was bundled with Graveyard Shift when I saw it on TV.

Pathetic.
Honestly, I thought this was one of the most BORING movies I have ever seen.
Not even the limited "gore" could make it worth looking at.
Got turned off within an hour.

I hadn't thought I'd ever come across anyone who'd actually WANT them to make a sequel...interesting...

I only watched the first one BECAUSE it was written by Stephen King, and starred Robert Englund...

I first saw it when I was ten at a sleepover. My friend's partents rented it..

It was scary at the time..

but now.. LOL

The first lady that gets sucked by the machine..haha. Oh man.

LOL like in Max Overdrive and the kid gets hit in the nuts with a pop .. or was it a baseball?... whichever, FUNNY.

I don't think THE MANGLER is such a bad movie, it's just not a good one. Still I admire those who want to take a stand a praise a movie that gets dumped. All horror films are special in there own way, well maybe not, but it was nice to say.

I think it's quite amazing that a movie that's based on Stephen King's story, is directed by Tobe Hooper and has Robert Englund in it, can be so bad. on the other hand, it is pretty hilarious....

wasnt the human protagonist that Stephen Macht (spelling) guy from one of the TV space shows ? Battlestar gallactica ?

if so, he actually did a decent job with that accent .. or i could be confusing him with someone else ?
