awesome, cause I've just started developing the characters, and they idea for one. I want it to have a very, "Fistful of Dollars" feel to it, very western but with zombies!

actually one of my friends, suggested an idea for a movie:

The basic idea:

What if there was only ONE zombie, and you were the only one who believed in it's existence? Would you be safe?

old west zombies and a pose full of rough necks. sounds like it could have potential. You think zombies could survive the vacume that is space?

Hmm, zombies in Space? interesting idea. I don't think they could survive the vaccume of space though, humans can't, and neither could that Ripley-Alien baby. If there's zombies in it, I'll watch it!

hey check out the manga, PRIEST. i think you might like it, its along those lines. a undead (?) priest battles zombies and his lovers murderers.

Thanks I, ZOMBIe I'll definitely have to check it out, who knows maybe I'll get some ideas from it. It's funny you mentioned that, cause the main character in my film is a badass mutherfucker who happens to be a priest.

That's a shit idea. ONE zombie isn't scary. Zombies' scariness comes from the sheer number of them. One zombie, you track it down and prove to people that it's a zombie, get rid of it, and go aboot your business.

I think the idea was more about: what if there was only one Zombie, and you were the only one who knew of it's existence, yet every time you tried to prove that it existed they thought you were crazy. Also think about it, if one Zombie is in existence, there's the probability that it's not the only Zombie really out there.

What if there was only ONE zombie

The idea was that there's only one zombie. It's a shit idea. The logistics of it are just...nonexistant. If it exibited any zombie-like behavior (biting people, et cetera), then either there would soon be more zombies and the idea is shot, or it would get locked up and the idea is useless. If not, then what's the point if it even being a zombie. And if it only exibited zombie-like behavior around you, then shoot it in the head and be done with it.

agree with STE, you can't have just one Zombie, where can the 'zombie' story line go with just one. Zombies bite people, hence more Zombies. If you use one Zombie, then it will end up being a horror about a monster going around killing people, and not a Zombie film.

shit i wish we could all come together and start filming all our zombie movies. a girl i met on myspace is going to the savini school so she can be closer to me and we can work on our zombie movies...

well, i do agree there should be more than one zombie. but this is going to be a western right?

is it going to be in like one town, like a tombstone kinda place, and a zombie stumbles into town..??? here where i get an idea, have a few scenes of this preist following this zombie around.... add in some zombbie like behavior, then have a scene of the preist getting armed (a la evil dead) and have the preist be a really good shot as he takes on the town of undead. i think it would be great to have a preist be decapitating and splattering and just a whole lot of zombie splatterfest!

so yeah, check out that manga, priest i think you will like it.

Hey that's not a bad idea, mind if i use it? What if the priest rides into town, and finds a somewhat deserted town, and helps the few locals, who have stayed behind to defend their homes. I was thinking of maybe including a scene where an undead posse comes to town, and the priest kicks their zombie asses! lots of gore! Sort of 'Fistfull of Dollars' meets 'Night of the Living Dead' meets 'Shaun of the Dead' cause it will probably have some funny moments.
