I know this movie isn't horror at all, but I thought I'd mention it anyways. I think this film looks kick ass! Has anyone else seen the trailers for it?

Just saw it when I saw sin city. it looks cool, loved the book. the trailer was like a guide to trailers you'll have to see it to understand.

Yeah I've seen all three trailers for it. Speaking of Sin City, is it worth shelling out the $9.00? I'm thinking about going to see it tomorrow night, after I get off work

Some people find it hard to understand what the actual jokes mean. If you look at it as just a sci fi adventure then of course its gonna suck.

Did they actually do it as a comedy? I hope so.....
Although i was encouraged to see that Zaphod was being played by the same person who played Guy from galaxy quest... i love him..

Storywise, I think they focused on the wrong elements. Laugh-wise, I think they focused on the wrong jokes.
I think a better adaptation could have been made.
EDIT: Fuck, they didn't even explain WHY a towel is so important.

I thought all elements were perfect. You have got to remember that it is british humor, and not everything has to be explained. Remember in The Demolishion man, the 3 sea shells.

Yeah, I didn't think Demolition Man was good, either.
Also, you assume that I don't appreciate British humor.
