Does anyone else think Dog Soldiers is a little bit of an Aliens rip?
And also, does anyone think the line "There is no Spoon." is a Matrix reference?

Ya it is, the marines act just like the ones in aliens surving as comedic relief at the same time as being the main characters.
Ya the "there is no spoon" is a total matrix reference, first of all its kinda an awkward line to just say someone is dead, and i think it was a commentary on the fact that they used no cgi in the movie as the matrix is kinda the opposite end of the spectrem being almost completely cg.

Glad to see someone else saw the Aliens connection.
