Well last night my brother decided to throw his going away party, and needless to say i was pretty fucked up. Anyways i get on MSN and my friend sends me a picture, and im drunk so i didnt think too much of it...well it was a virus and now my whole computer is fucked. So if someone can suggest some ideas on how to get rid of it....or if you have a Product Key for Norton Antivirus 2005, it would be much appreciated.
Suprisingly, this is the only site i can go to without the window being automatically shut :rolleyes:

yes.......i did receive a message from you on messenger which looked like a virus.
do you know what the virus is?

download McAfee Stinger, it will scan for the main viruses, such as ones that get sient via msn, that 9 times out of 10 do not actually come from anyone you know....you get spammed a message or picture from somewhere, thats tricks you into thinking it's from someone you know.

follow the instructions for your particular operating system, as you must disable system restore, otherwise the virus will still remain.

first thing i turn off along with error reporting

so do I, it's a system resource hog, but the majority of users wont, or probably don't even know it exists..

Virus? I had a shitty day too.
First I got into class and the teacher told me that "they" have given up on me. So I begged him to let me back in the class. I got him to say yes, but he said I'd have to convince the principle to let me back in. More begging... Even after that, he said he was going to have to talk to my teacher to see if I can still be in the class. I had to re-register aswell. :(
on top of that, wickerman isn't here to cheer me up.
Sorry I can't help, I don't even think I have any virus protection. :eek:
