View Full Version : Trying to figure out what the name of this movie is...

This has been bugging me for months now so I subscribed here in hopes of getting help....there was this movie I seen when I was a kid It was about a ventriloquist doll he had a lilltle glass eye piece on his on eye. also this was late 80'a Early 90's ...some scenes i remember were the little boy the main charcter is in his room and his toy phone starts ringing its red and flashes...another scene the boy buries the doll and it comes back...i cant rem much more...hope someone can help ....also I like the site

I'm not sure what this one is, but here's another with the same plot kinda sorta:

Try the movie MAGIC made in 1978 starring Anthony Perkins as Corky the dummy and the Ventriloguist. It also had Ann Margeret in it. Pretty good flick.

I just went and bought the thing on ebay....man how did you know what it was....I didnt even think i would be able to find it to buy it...

Hey Man I've been lookin for a place like this.....I love horror man ever since I was knee high to a grasshoppa.....I just wish it was like the old days when u could watch chillers on saturday night or uncle teds ghoule school or freddys nightmares or friday the 13th the series....I think the xfiles was a ripoff of that show right down to both the leading female actors having red hair...

I go back to the original Twilight Zone, Night Gallery, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Night Stalker.
This forum is pretty good....there's a few assholes, a few kids, but for the most part its a nice diversion.

This here General forum is mostly for just bullshitting....if ya want some real horror convo...go to one of the other pages. i.e...modern horror or upcoming horror.

the Friday the 13th series was just as bad as the Crow series, both were just utterly horrible imo.

this is true, I have to admit I did watch Friends ever once and awhile just because I thought Chandler was funny, I wasn't breaking my neck to the couch every Thursday or anything like that though.

Yeh I remember watching it every now and then till it slowly started to disgust me more and more everytime. It transmits some weird values that audiences just suck up and inadvertantly relate to their own lives.
