with guilt. :D (I see the thread trend, but I'm a trail blazer baby :cool: )

Do you remember it?

I remember I used to be babysat by this older couple. I was one of like 8 kids that were babysat everyday. One other girl and the rest were boys. Mainly what I remember was everytime we did something nice we got a cookie, and every time someone did something bad they got hit. Like training dogs eh? I don't think anybody ever told their parents or anything because I don't think he ever got in any trouble. I guess I was a good kid, because i don't remember getting in trouble really. Except I almost did this one time...

Anyway, I think I spilled juice on the carpet one day or something because I remember him yelling at me "Who did this?" I quietly pointed to one of the boys and he just smacked him really hard. The boy started crying so much that the stupid old man had to run to his cookie jar to get him to stop. Cookies solve everything when you're that age I guess.

So, do you remember your first experience with guilt?

I was five and my sister was three and she said "butt" and I thought she had more guts than me, so I said butt too. No one was around to hear it except other kids but I ratted myself out to my mother anyways. I felt really dirty for saying the word butt.

i remember vividly.

i was a kid in public school .. grade 2 or 3 ..
there was a little girl i liked so when we were joking around i said something stupid - it may have been in context with what was being said .. and i replied 'i bet your mother is a witch'
not maliciously .. i was smiling ..etc ...

so she gets this long face .. and everyone looks at me like i farted in a honda civic full of people or something ... and then someone told me her mother just passed away ..

i was devastated ... obviously - cause it still bugs me now 38 years later

I've always had these fucked up dreams. When I was 4 or so, I had a dream I was watching my Mom drown in the bathtub, and I wouldn't help her. I still feel guilty about that.
As far as the real world goes.......I always feel guilty about something:(

The first one I remember was seventh grade, my class had to stand in line and hand out assignments in to our teacher. I get up to the front, and let out the BIGGEST fart imaginable. I turn around to the girl behind me and say, "Meghan! Ewwww! Meghan farted!" Somehow everybody believed me.

If it were present time and I farted I'd just say, "Yeah that's mine."

I remember...once my sister and I had some stupid fight when we were 5&6 (I was 5), and I threw a butterknife at her. She bolted when I threw it, but it caught her on the back of the heel, and actually cut her....it started pissing blood.
She was just scard and crying n stuff, and I helped her dress and bandage it n everything, but still...I felt bad for weeks

(I have since come to own one, and he's a little devil and I dont know why I wanted one in the first place) but anyway...so I told this little girl that I had a Collie.

Thats the end of the story. I felt guilty for lying to her, but I never told her that it was a lie.

When my brother (who is away at college) comes home and all he wants to do is hang out with me, but I act like Im too cool and I have better things to do.

Or once when my mom wouldnt extend my curfew I told her that "just because she didnt have a social life in high school didnt mean she has to take away mine". Thats a really sensitive subject for her...:(

I was se7en and completely in a joking manner told someone that their dad must be blind(the car he pulled up in almost got into a wreck) and he said ''that's my uncle, my dad's dead'' and I felt like a royal peice of shit.

the most guilty I've ever felt was in 9th grade. I was arguing with somebody in the gym and eventually we started fighting, I hit him and he dropped to the floor and started shaking. The next day I got suspended for hitting someone who was seizure prone, that needless to say made me feel like.

I kicked my brother in the nuts with steel toed tap shoes when I was around five. He had to throw up in the bathroom.

Like I said previously, I tend to laugh when something really traumatic happens to me. (Well, it depends on the event). I was in the first car wreck of my life when I started laughing hysterically.

I did the same thing when i hit the moose. once i finished screaming because it scared the shit out of me and i realized i was still alive.

Took me 3 hours to stop shaking though.

so you dont feel too guilty :) I love absurd brutality in movies. That was one o fThe Holy Grail's greatest strengths. Lancelot's killing spree is one of my favorite parts.. (especially when he attacks 20 people, then hacks at the flowers on the wall....:D)

My sister and i got into a fight one time over, of all things, Pizza pockets. Our freinds were over, and we got into a shouting match over them because there were 4 left, and both of us wanted 2 each for ourselves and our freinds. Anyway, at some point, she got pissed and kicked me in the nuts.

i went down, then got up, and went completely psycho. She saw this and turned to run. i grabbed the back of her shirt and punched her in the back of her head with all of my strength.

There was a loud POP. She ended up getting loose and running away outside (keep in mind, she is older than me and was still bigger than me...)

I ended up sitting down to watch tv, and my eyes were starting to tear up. Her freind ssaid "Dont worry, she will come back when she calms down."

I said "I dont care about that, my fucking hand hurts..."

Turns out i broke my finger when i punched her.

I never really felt guilty about it, so i guess it doesnt really count, but i wanted to share it :)

reminds of a time when my 16 yr old brother
try to be a bad ass and tried to beat my ass
i bitch slapped him right across his face as hard
as i could, unfortunatly he was sent away to a
detention facilityand won't get back for 6 months
needless to say i still feel guilty even to this day
about trying to slap the taste out of his mouth.:(

something I probably should've felt guilty about but didn't was in tenth grade during a football game. The running back came around the corner I got low then flipped him over my head. He had to leave the game because his forearm was fractured and he missed the rest of the season.

Reminds me of playing football in highschool, although i never played on the team.

Me and a freind were trying to catch someone who WAS on the team. he darted out of the way at the last second. i went high, my freind went low, he slammed headfirst into my knees, we both went down.

He got a concussion and i could barely walk for 3 days. Kind made living in the basement suck...
