Okay, this is probably a bit redundant, this being a horror forum, but are there any things (movies, games, tv shows) where you want the bad guys to get away with whatever they are doing? Not just wantiong to see Jason hack someone up, but when they have some brilkliant scheme that you would just lobve to see it pan out.

My example. I am watchin Die Hard right now, and i actually kind of wanted the bad guys to get away. Their plan was perfect. had Bruce not fucked things up for them, they would have gotten away. they all woudl have been in a non-extridition country earning 20% on 47 MILLION dollars.... if that is just annual, that would be $9,400,000 a year for sitting on your ass. Gotta sympathize with wanting that kind of life.

Here is how it breaks down:
that is $783,333 a month

$180,769 a week

$25,753 a day

figures to a salary of about $3,561 an HOUR

Anyway.. i also always felt for Neil McCauly in Heat (Robert Dinero). Sure, he was a bad ass, but he wanted to retire to a nice, calm life in New Zealand...

Luke only looked cool in the black outfit from Jedi.

We wont get into proncess Leia. i mentioned once to my wife that i liked her when i was a kid and now she give sme shit whenever we see Carrie Fisher on tv.

She is scary now, but i was 8 when Jedi came out.... That metal bikini made quite an impression....

Yeah I always liked the empire also, Boba Fett was the shit..

I loved Princess Leia also as a kid, but you're right she's scary now, all the years of drug abuse fucked her up.

I loved the bit about her in Jay and Silent Bob as the hairy bush nun, that was fucking hilarious.

just george clooney in Dusk til Dawn...

I have liked a lot of badguys ...
nothing like a great charismatic badguy ...usually such a 2 dimentional role so its fun to see someone with character.

christopher walken in A View to a Kill
John Glover in 52 Pickup
Jack Warner in Time after Time

I always loved Russel Crowe as Sid 6.7. He is such a loveable and cheery bad guy. he really truly ENJOYS killing people.

Francis Begbie. He is such a fucking nutcase, i am almost afriad he'll com eout of the screen and cut me if i badmouth him.

10000000000000000000000% Tommy Lee Jones in "Blown Away"

he plays such an EXCELLENT bad guy in that movie, very comical, and very serious. Oh god how I wished that he had won.

See? that is why i mentioned him. For a bad-ass, he is very easy to identify with. Plus, he genuinely cares about his freinds. If only he hadnt gone back for Waingro, he would have gotten away scot free....

Let it go man, let it go! You´re just tormenting yourself and end up as a depressed nerd. Nobody wants that.

Face it. He´ll never change. No matter how many times you see the movie.

I have two games:

FFVII- Sephiroth
FVI- Kefka

Movies? The actors distract me too much. If I don't like the actor, it's hard for me to deal.

However in GTA Vice City, the bad guy gets to do anything he wants, provided you're a good player.:D

I think pretty much everybody fell in love with Freddy....So much so, that they had to tone down the whole 'pedophile' image...You guys notice how they kinda crawled away from that a bit?...

I had actually wondered about that.... he kind o fbecame just a murderer, because killing kids is so much more acceptable than molesting them.....

Not that he's even necessarily the bad guy, but the monster in the 1932 Frankenstein is pretty damn sympathetic.

For starters, one that had NO CHANCE, but was still damn cool...The Joker from Batman!

Has nobody mentioned Hannibal? Im shocked, I was rooting for him...

I think Im the only one here who likes the movie...but Bison from Street Fighter...that was one hell of a character! Raul Julia did a damn good performance, only good actor in the cast. Perhaps that is why I was rooting for him....

Dr Phibes, of course.

And in almost every slasher movie....But I guess that's a given:p

If the Devil is correctly portayed in a movie, he is to godamn charismatic to hate completely.

I love Viggo Mortensen as Lucifer in the Prophecy. "I'm not trying to stop Gabriel because i Love you or i care about you. i want to stop him because if he wins, there will be 2 hells, and 2 hells is one hell too many."
