:mad:I have just had one of the most disappointing experiences in all the years I have been going to the cinema to watch horror movies. Boogeyman was boring, tedious and just when it did start getting interested it finished. To make matters worse the ending was also a damp squib following a 10 minute sequence that finally brought the film to life.I can't believe the man who brought us the tour de force that was The Evil Dead produced this waste of a movie. No blood,no gore,no originality,a poor screenplay,no memorable characters, predictable shocks and vastly over hyped.
Come on Sam,you can do better than this.

You you honestly say you didnt enjoy laughing at how horrible this was? Come on, admit it, you laughed when the guy's dad got sucked in the closet at the 1st [He he he...he looked like a ragdoll]...or when they guy completly molested the knob at the end of the bannister...or every other fricken second of this movie! Before it was over, I had my dobts on if they were actually trying to be scary, or if it was meant as a comedy...If it was supposed to be scar, it fails. Miserably. Worse than miserably. But if it WAS trying to be funny....10 outta 10! Great work!:p

Leave Sam Raimi alone.. he is produucing these shitflix, not directing. Granted, he is funnelling out money so that people can make them, but its not like he is manning the camera.

They are using his name for all of them the same way they do Steven Speilberg if he has walked by the set, he is known for making good movies, so use his name for any piece of shit that he is even moderately involved in.

Thats why you dont go see movies in the theatre unless you know they are going to be good (Land of the Dead, so forth)

Da hell does the producer even do. Pay for the movie to be made?

yep, and occasionally make decisions about the movie. Kind of a "i paid for this so i am going to critique the shit out of it" type person. Some a re very hands on (the guys who produced Dog Soldiers were on the set every day), other just lend money and hope it pans out.

All Sam did was hear an idea he thought was good and fund it, it's not his fault it sucked.

I went to see Boogeyman and Hide and Seek the same day. I wouldn't reccomend either of them for the theatre. $2.00-$3.00 bucks for a rental might not be bad buttttttttttt.

They both did convince me that I will never go see another PG-13 horror film at the theatre. In one movie a youg girls cell phone kept going off, and she kept talking each time, despite some glares from nearby patrons. In the other a kid kept yelling "penis" maybe 10-12 times in the first half-hour of the film. I guess I'm getting old..!

I flip out when idiots are in the theatre and try to ruin the movie for the rest of us...... When I went to see "Farhenheit 911", there were these 2 people snoring so loud sitting like 5 feet away during when the sensitive parts came on. I just cant stand when people are having a full conversation during a movie.

THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

Fucking people loves to suck George Bushs cock

I know what you mean. People were laughing at the ending of saw. I don't wanna spoil it for anyone but it was the crazy part.. Doesn't that make sense?

Even if the ending sucked ass, I paid ten bucks to see the crappyness'

I don't mean that it is just because they were young. But in this case they were. I remember when cell phones first became popular, and they just rang, no music. People left them on everywhere. If one person's phone rang everybody had to look and see if it was theirs. I can remember several movies being ruined by a couple of phone calls, and these were adults, kids didn't have cell phones!

You can't make people act responsible, you can only hope they do. If I put myself in a theatre with a bunch of people who want to act like children then it is really my fault I guess.

Oh, come on now... Thtas like saying you got mugged only because you were carrying money. It's the same reason why kids walk out in the road, then flip you off because you have to honk the horn at them to get the hell out of the way. And it isnt just kids. People dont have respect for anything these days.

When was the last time you heard about a 17 year old getting arrested for assault because of road rage? That is mostly for adults. Everyone on earth seems to think they have a right to do whatever the fuck they want these days, and fuck the rights of everyone else.

I would love to see someone catch a large soda in the back of the head for shouting at the screen or not turning off their phone.

We need a movie about a byunch of people in a movie terrorizing and harming the people who wont be considerate. it waould be catharsis if nothing else :)

I'm all for it. A killer picks out his victims by going to movies, and then killing the patrons who make noise etc. They could kill them using a scene from the movie they just watched, kind of like Fade to Black.

Paparrazi, was a good example of somebody being pissed off of how they are treated by others, and is an extension of their anger.

The film had its moments, and at first I was interested. But then it went absolutely no where and made no sense. Too bad. It could have been alright.

And was I the only one who figured out that the little girl was already dead the minute we saw her?

cute chicks and hot dudes are a dime a dozen, we need more freak shows. Anyhow, I think the general rule should be, if its pg-13 let it be. You can wait until it come on tv.
