I watched this movie earlier and I enjoyed it... I thought it had a good interesting plot... It had plenty eerie scenes (especially in the beginning when the patients break out and attack the doctor), nice special fx, insane asylum, etc.... Asylum, fast twitching monsters, crazy patients, nice gore is a nice recipe. I thought the ending could have been better. But the other aspects made up for it. I like Dark Castle company. What do u think of it?

One of Dark Castles best films.

I was not a big fan of this, and preferred the original film (although they are really apples and oranges anyway).

However, there was one scene I really liked a lot; for me, it almost was worth the price of admission: Chris Kattan's "I WANT MY CHECK!" screaming rant was unforgettable and hilarious. Hoo-boy! How often have you felt like screaming like that?

Before I began, I want everyone to know theres a different between a favorite movie, and a good movie.

That being said, this is one of my...scratch that, my absolute favourite horror movie. Not the best by any means, but very enjyable, fast paced, great acting from Mr. Rush and Mr. Kattan...decent acting from Gallagher and Ms. Jansen...and I just wont mention the rest of the cast....Anyway, all-around fun movie, somewhat creepy in parts, and all around enjoyable!

Maybe you arent so much of an ass after all BH:p

House on Haunted Hill is not one of my favorite films but I didn't think it was horrible. It was decent. I thought Geoffrey Rush was great and the rest of the cast was okay. My favorite part is in the beginning when Rush and some newspeople (the camera guy is James Marsters who played Spike on Buffy) are in the elevator and the elevator falls and it is a joke.
