Ok, just finished my first ever horror short and I need some input.
(besides having better actors...they were free)

Everything i have learned (shooting and editing) has been from books and troma movies......so i have pretty thick skin. let me know what you think.

Worth sending into festivals?

that was pretty cool !

only thing i didnt like was the red lighting on the guys face and all the nodding he was doing ...
Didnt like the delivery of the '1st corps'
(thats some wwf shit right there ...)

but the concept was interesting .. the bat scene was well done,
the '3rd corpse' was pretty good with his lines.

said the same theme as natural born killers but still in a way that was different than what i've seen before.

did you deliberately try to make the guy look like Ash in the opening shot ?

thanks for watching it! its funny you mentioned ash......it didnt even cross my mind! (but now i think of it, your right!) this was my first film and i grew up having been influenced by evil dead and troma movies.
glad you liked it urgeok! (since i was the 3rd corpse! heh heh)

I thought it was pretty cool the only thing I didn't like were the wrestling references but it's not like it was that big a deal. Overall I'd say you did a good job.

Loved it. It reminded me of that scene in American Werewolf in London. Good luck (Bah, you won't see this anyway. :p )

Very well done. The acting was pretty good. Most B shorts have really bad acting. I really Liked it!! "CLAP,CLAP,CLAP"!! GOOD JOD!!

god damn, i am so worried about dealing with actors. everything i have done so far has been "film the mentally insane, or the homeless in the naturual habitat. or get a slutty girl to get naked in a bathtub full of pigs blood"

Sweet dude, excellent concept indeed :) The baseball bat thing was pure viciousness...noice!

Keep up the good work man and good look with the festivals :)

Excellent short for the budget you were working on! You should definately send it in to a few festivals. The worst thing that can happen is that it gets rejected, but judging by the feedback you are getting from informed horror fans right here, I would say you've got a pretty good shot! Anyways, I really liked and would definately be interested in watching anything ese you put together, so just keep on posting them here and I'll keep watching.

Great work! :)

....but a decent try
