didn't think much of this franchise after the first two.... the idea went down hill and never recovered.

that always got me thinking... why the hell would a Cenobite what is in effect a Demon from hell, want the use of an inanimate object as part of it's bodily function or posession??

when i saw the 'dj - cd' cenobite in #3 or 4 - i forget which - it was obvious the series was dead in the water

The last Hellraiser movie I saw was: "Hellraiser: Inferno"...it was much better than "Hellraiser 4.....(In space  )
Have seen "Hellraiser: Hellseeker" in the video store but havent rented it yet.....
I actually like sequels but some of this new ones look really bad :
"Hellraiser: Deader"(2004) (V)
aka "Hellraiser VII: Deader
"Hellraiser: Hellworld"(2004) (V)
aka "Hellraiser 8" - USA

I would agree, out of the 4th,5th & 6th this would be the better of the three... still doesn't invalidate my opionon of it's rubbishness though. ;)

like i said before - the compelling thing about the origional is you didnt know who these things were .. they were just freaky beings - with each consecutive movie we know more and more about them .. they started to become like old pals ..
fetish leather and goofy nicknames.
no more mystery ... no more point to going on.

I agree. The mysteriousness...has been lost. It seems ...hollywood...no longer took this horror seriously. The sequels have been filled with dumb ideas. Kill it already. Uggh....
The other night...I had a dream...the character Pinhead said something to me and some other people...
Mind you... this simply was a dream. Yeah I know...I watch too many movies. LOL

I like pinhead but i think the only way to put hellraiser back on the map is to put ol Pinhead in a -vs- movie

Fans just need to [probably] suffer through these, then will [once again, probably] be happy again!
Barker is writing a script/story with Pinhead's death, to be turned into a film...rumored to be directed by Barker himself!!
