being a guy who doesn't ''play'' women the only thing I can come up with is maybe if he makes a bunch of excuses.

What exactly do you mean by excuses?

for example if he makes excuses often when he's suppose to see or call you.
If he actually likes you there shouldn't be that many excuses keeping him from you unless he's in the military or something like that.

Well, i've been w/ him for 6 years now. He all of the sudden has to always go somewhere else when he gets a phone call. He always picks his phone up real quick when it rings like he doesn't want me to see who is calling. B 4 we got together he did flirt alot but he calmed down. I think the answers right in my face but i don't want ot accept it.

is he keen on mother-in-laws or future ones?

I'm not an expert or anything but if you've been with him for six years and he just started doing that right out of the blue then my guess would be he's either messin around or he's a covert ops agent. But that's just my opinion.

If you've been with him that long then maybe you should actually try doing what shanks said cause I know you don't wanna just break up after all that time without being sure.

Oh you poor kid...
Yeah....men.......we're a pretty sad lot.
We screw up all the time. But sometimes its for a reason. If he's cheating on you and you need to break it off and end up hating his guts forever then that's probably what would have eventually happened anyway.
You can't change that.
I'm only sorry that you've put in so much time. He'll probably hate himself for all of this and for wasting your time as well. Even when we screw things up beyond belief we usually aren't doing it just to be evil. You've been with him this long; you probably know him very well. If he's never been abusive in any way then this is just his heart changing.
We can be very apologetic. Don't allow this to cloud your judgement. Ask directly, then get the fuck outta there! If he's cheating now (he probably is) then you guys just weren't meant to be. I can't tell you how sorry I am for you.
Now go. Ask. Now.

Assuming he's cheating, he's stupid enough to still be getting the calls on his regular-type phone. Haven't you guys seen Phone Booth?

maybe he's doing/dealing drugs, or selling underage asian women into S&M leather slavery. I mean, really, it's the 21st century, not EVERY sneaky-type thing means one is cheating on one's significant other anymore.

I think you should ask your boyfriend what is going on. If he lies (and I think you will be able to tell) then I know how hard it will be but I think you should move on. There is obviously something going on and he is not talking to you about it. I'm not sure if he is cheating or not but whatever it is I'm pretty sure it is probaly not good. I had a boyfriend who started doing the same thing you are describing and I tried talking to him but he refused. Finally, I found out he was cheating and then he left me. I felt so betrayed and stupid. We were together for 7 years and I could not believe he did this to me. I am telling you this because I refused to see something was going on and I tried to hold on but that caused me more pain. You know there is something going on, just ask him and if he doesn't tell you, leave. You do not want to be a doormat for him to walk on. Refuse to let his behavior continue. I wish you luck in what ever you do and I hope that it turns out good.
