I was just thinking about it and I thought I would start a thread about Bill Paxton. I freakin' love this guy. He is the only person who has been killed by The Terminator, The Aliens, and The Predator. He also kicked a ton of ass in Near Dark and Braindead and directed Frailty. So how cool is this guy?

Agreed. How could they replace Arnold with Danny Glover?

But that doesn't affect my thoughts on Paxton.

Bill Paxton rules! Everytime I see a Paxton flick at a reasonable price, I buy it. Just this week I saw a western starring Paxton called 'Frank and Jesse'. He was great in Frailty, A Simple Plan, Aliens, True Lies & Tombstone. He even played the role of Chet's (I think it was Chet) evil brother in the movie 'Weird Science'!

Now you are a man I can relate too. Aaah, the classic that is Weird Science. Where else will you see Paxton turned into a pile of shit? Great 80's flick.

Paxton is awesome "Game over man game over" loved him in Aliens, Frailty was one of the best films I have ever seen. Ever seen A Simple Plan? also very good performance by Paxton. Predator 2 left alot to be desired but at least there was some humor in it.

A Simple Plan...are you kidding. It's a Raimi film. Of course I've seen it. Quite impressed by it too.

You're absolutely right. A scene from a cool movie that I'll always remember, because the first time I saw it when I was a kid, it kinda freaked me out. I guess it was supposed to, though.

Yeah, no one has ever heard of my Braindead it seems. It's one of my favorite films of all time and not very many people have seen it.

It's a fantastic psychological mindbender written by Charles Beaumont (wro wrote some of the best Twilight Zone episodes). It stars Bill Pullman and Bill Paxton before they blew up and the storyline revolves around experimental brain surgery. I really can't give any more of the plot away. It's one of my absolute favorites. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys "thinking" during a horror flick.

Frailty was a great work for Mr. Paxton. I liked it that he directed it too. I can't recall seeing a creepier performance in a while.

Don't forget his amazing, over the top, yet disgusting performance in The Dark Backward. It may or may not considered a horror movie. Definitely wierd though. If you are a Paxton fan it is a must see.

I've been looking for the movie Brain Dead for a couple of years now. But I don't think it has ever been released here in Europe, but I could be wrong. Maybe if I'm lucky, I can someday find an ex-rental or something. I sure hope so.

Great actor for sure. Near Dark is my favorite of his roles. It was good to see him pop up in The Good Life recently.

Mortuary is another great flick starring Mr paxton too.

Very good actor. One of those ones that you can easily forget he's an actor and see him as the character.

Haven't seen him in a lot, but Frailty is easily one of the best horror flicks to come out of this decade. That plus his classic role in Aliens makes him OK in my books.

Totally agree, especially with regards to Frailty.

Be nice if he would turn his hand at directing more films, he hasnt done much recently outside 'Big Love'.

I barely remember Frailty, might be time to dig it out for a re-watch.
