I remember a great movie I rented many years ago at my video store back in the early 80's AND I CAN"T REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT! ARRGGH!@$%*& This movie story line took place in early American colonial days. Two children were brought to this colony by British soldiers. While living in the colony weird things were happening in the woods nearby! The father of the children was absorbed into a demonic tree as well as others but later fought free to protect his children. The girl and the boy were the only survivors and were rescued by a British soldier. The weird thing was is that apparently the soldier was posessed by the tree and that was the end. Does anybody remember this movie and most importantly the TITLE! PLEASE HELP! I have been looking for this movie for a long time and my wife (who is a horror buff) is dying to see this flick! THANKS!

The storyline sound very familiar to me, but I can't think of the title either. Maybe it'll come to me.

I am shocked, amazed, surprised and underwhelmed! Lo and behold the answer to my question about the movie I fergot twas Eyes of Fire!! DING DING DING DING DING! And the award for the correct answer goes to, uh, SOMEBODY! Thanks! When I first tried to find about Eyes of Fire I got some link to a movie made in 2002 or sumpin'?! But there is also the 1984 Eyes of Fire aka Cry Blue Sky, a rare and unique indie film. I'll have to email IFC and see if they will run Eyes of Fire! Get out the popcorn and turn off the lights! When I originally saw this film it gave me nightmares but their harmless as long as you don't go into cardiac arrest. I can't wait to see this film again! I have been looking to get it on DVD or even VHS (YUCK!) but have not been able to find the frigging thing! To the ones who had the knowledge of the film I was looking for many thanks and salaam, salami, baloney!

:D There is only one solution to this dilemma! You all must enter the cage of DOOM! Two or three or however many there are enter one man leaves! (Where did I steal part of that quote from?) And remember, the Rules are there are NO RULES! I actually found a placed that will have Eyes of Fire on DVD on 2/22/05 for $9.99, or I could pay $59.95 for the VHS format! DUH, I wonder which one I will choose? DVD BABY is where its at! VHS is the stone age of video and DVD of course will be replaced eventually with 3 dimensional video. By the way, where the hell is our 3D tv?! They promised it would be here before the new milennia but NO! They still don't have it! We want 3D tv NOW! Write your congressman and senator and demand that they get us 3D tv immediately! If any of you HORROR fans are interested in where to get Eyes of Fire send me a thread and a needle and start your suture just below the medulla, er, yeah, just let me know.

 PAINT THINNER? PAINT THINNER! I don't need no stinking paint thinner! Maybe a good mug of ale for what ails ya'. Paint thinner is for LOSERS MAN!

On a different note who thought The Village is M. Night Shyamalan's (Think I spelled that right) best and most thought provoking movie yet? And who thought that Scary Movie 3 was the funniest spoof of his and other horror movies?! And what about The Grudge? Creepy enough for you? That kind of movie is perfect when blazing on you know that stuff 'dica'! I also promise to never end a thread with ciao, chow, chou, cow, or moo. A'ight?!

    AWWWWW ANGRA IS ANGRY! Awww, poor baby! What a clever retort! Piss off! How long did it take you to come up with such a witty and intelligent response as Piss off! My goodness you really are clever Angra! You should get an award or something for being such a clever, clever person! Oh, by the way I can be a little humorous but sometimes I have to resort to SARCASM! Some of you people can be a little touchy or edgy even. Maybe you should cut back on the Red Bull or coffee or whatever. I thought this was a free forum and not for some of you to take cheap shots and make insults and what the hell is a noob? When I was in the service we were called Newbies when we arrived at our training station. Is a noob a newbie? All I can say is if you want to trade insults and make fun of somebody why don't you go and stare in a mirror and do that for an hour or so. Only a lessoff behaves like a first grader. A free forum allows people to express themselves and if you have to be degrading and insulting the problem is not me or others that you poke fun at but yourselves.

hey hey, fuck 3d tv. it should be a helmet that puts you in the movie as a character, total your choice. so for example if you were watching halloween you could be loarie, the doc, mick, or any one else, or just watch the original film.
