Okay, they ALLEGEDLY had a gun. It happened like this.
During lunch I eat right outside the gym, sitting up against the door. Today during lunch someone (unrecognized by me, but that doesn't mean much) came trying to open the two doors next to me. They didn't bother with the door I was sitting up against so I guessed he didn't want in the gym that bad. He wasn't wearing an ID (we have to wear ID badges on lanyards at my school) and had a visor on sideways (like kids today like to wear). I didn't see him after that. A couple minutes later some admin. peoples were talking pretty intensely about something, I overheard one of them say "he's wearing a sun visor on sideways". Around that time one of the students who were in the little area said "he got a gun" to someone else. A minute or so later, they hurried us all out of the area.
During 3rd hour (right after my lunch shift) they made two announcements for teachers to check their voice mail system, which is the thing they do when there's an intruder. I was talking to someone about it later and he'd heard from a teacher or admin. that he had a gun, too.
Funny thing is, the two doors he tried to open were locked, the one I was sitting up against wasn't. Good thing the potentially dangerous, allegedly armed intruder was polite enough not to ask me to move, huh?

I'm telling you this little state we call home is FUCKED UP! I say me and you need to pack, and move it on up to Canada right now. I have had a gun held to my head, and have been fallowed several times. I went to Central VPA and there was gun brought to school by someone or other every fucking day.

Hell, someone was shooting off a gun after a basketball game the other week (early January, IIRC). They were from the other school, but still.
I'm goin to Canada anyways

I carried a switch blade in school, but those were the days before everyone got tired of knife fights and just shot each other to death.

Still carry the same switchblade.

Canada has nothing but classy strip clubs, free health insurance and the drinking age is 19.

They just know how to do shit up there.

Hey, the fewer people in my graduating class, the higher my rank will be. As long as it's not me or one of my friends (a list of people that's been getting shorter and shorter lately), fools can bust caps in all da suckas they want

When I was in high school I had a Remington .45 that stayed in the console of my Firebird at all times...There were so many people that carried guns when I went to school it wasn't funny...Plus I'm in the south to and it wouldn't be shit to look around in the parking lot and see quite a few trucks with rifles in the back windows....Of course you can't do it nowdays but then you could...

Also one of my best friends shot himself in the head with a .22 at lunch in front of everybody, that was the most fucked up thing I have ever witnessed...Plus I lost a good friend... :(

I was super-lazy for most of high school, so I'm just in the top half (plus, our graduating class has over 300 people in it)

I had a friend die in a house fire. Turned out (or so I heard) that his mom had set the fire for whatever reason. Insurance type thing, I think.

At the time, I kept promising that I'd copy two of my CDs for him, but I kept forgetting. Nowadays I do that shit post-haste.

I remember one time a guy brought a gun to school he had no intentions of using it he just thought it made him cool I guess. He kept showing it off to people at lunch then the first class after lunch he dropped his backpak and the gun went off and shot him in the leg.

that's just one of the God knows how many times a gun was brought to my school.

Wow, sounds like you have it pretty rough....

In 11th grade there was a girl in one of my classes that stated in class that she carried a gun in her purse at all times. "Self defense" she claimed. Of course, the only dangerous people in that school were the stupid redneck assholes who carried fucking guns in school....(not aimed at Kpro, he said his was in the car)

New England has proven to be more of what people tend to associate with the south than the south. New Hampshire is nothing but hillbillies in baseball caps carrying guns and riding around in trucks. And i grew up thinking that the people i knew in Indiana were hicks....

I never carried a weapon in school. I was one of thos "Duffel Bag" kids who carried everything they had for school and about 10 other books in my bag because my fucking locker was on the other side of the school and on a different floor from ALL of my classes.

By the end of my junior year (i only did that my last 2 years of school) i had huge biceps and could swing that bag like a baseball bat. Plus i was just about 6 foot, had long hair, wore nothing but black jeans and Metallica shirts, and kept to myself.

People just didnt fuck with me. Plus, that was before school shootings became as common as they are now. They thought i might off myself, but didnt htink was necesarrily a danger to them.
