tell your ghost storys here, any stories, not by yourself, maybe stuff thats going on in your town, like legends and stuff

here's one:

Livermore is basically farmland and cow haven. There is an old story that on one of the long stretches of hilly road, a busload of childdren on their way to school one morning were involved in an accident. since the roads are so deserted, no one knew there had been a horrible bus crash, until later that evening. By that time, it was too late. Everyone had died.

The incident occured on an uphill stretch of road. The road is still deserted today, pretty much. Now, its called Gravity Hill because it is rumored that late at night, one can put their car in neutral at the bottom of the hill, and miraculously be "pushed" uphill.

the force is said to come from the ghosts of the yolung children who died that day saving drivers from the same fate. They push the car uphill so thay make it to the down side.

this is the creepy part: it really works, and it is truly creepy!

A friend of mine grew up in a converted Funeral Home. He said it was always creepy a night and having been there alot as a kid I can attest to that.

Anyway, unfortunately his brother was diagnosed with a fatal disease, one that was slowly taking him. Well his brother being rightly angered left his family religion and started parcticing a messing with the dark arts a little. My buddy told me a story that still gives me shivers.

One night my friend came home and was confronted with a "Freakin Talking candle" which was asking for his brother. Now my buddy being quite religous wouldn't make this up out of thin air and was and always is quite serious when he tells this story. What really happened? Who knows, but this is just one of many things that happened in that eiry house.

"Gravity Hill" sounds alot like Spook Hill...but it is the ghost of Union Soldiers(Civil War) on an old cannon run pushing your car up a hill in the same route they once pushed a cannon.. I tried this with a coke can..really works..even with a coke can.

the story about the kids pushing the car over the tracks actually happened outside san antonio. course it may have happened in livermore, too.

Did anyone used to watch Sightings? That show had some great "true" ghost stories and used to actually scare me when I was younger.

There was this old woman who lived all alone, actually, she wasn't all alone because she lived with her pet dog. Every night she would put the dog under her bed, where it slept. Each night it would lick her hand goodnight.

One night, after getting a reassuring lick, she fell asleep. She woke several minutes later to a dripping sound. She checked the whole house and eventually found where the dripping was coming from. Her dog had been killed and was hanging from the shower curtain, its blood dripping into the drain. She ran back to her room and looked under the bed. There was a psychopath under there and he had licked her hand.
