Review or no review you should see it for yourself. A couple of bad reviews you read might keep you from seeing it and it might be great.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's for King fans. I, being a King fan, read the short story, loved it, and then watched the pretty good film adaption. The movie, for non-King fans to know, has little to no gore and really isn't scary. The acting is shitty. But that's what I've grown to love about King movies, and this definately feels like a King movie is supposed to feel.

Because that's not what the movie is about. And it does have that sort of surreal feel to it that most King films do.

You know those movies you see in stores really cheap, but then they wind up sitting on your shelf forever? This is one of those for me. Looks really good, but for whatever reason, I havent got around to watching it yet.

Well, I watched it last night and thought it was great. I wouldnt say the acting was that bad...certainly better than in most King adaptions. John Jackson reminds me of a younger Johnny Depp...
Anyway, the plot was pretty interesting, the ending was great, and I really like David Arquette's character. It was also a nice touch how his "consience" was portrayed as an actual person. Overall it's a pretty good flick, I recomend it.

Wait, did you tell me it was up my alley because arquette's in it, and he's in scream, or is that a coincidence?

Coincidence. I think you'd like it because it's fairly fast-paced, has some cool characters, and just all around seems like the kind of movie you seem to enjoy.
