View Full Version : Dawn of the Dead cameo's
Most of you probably know this, but I thought I'd post it anyway.
Ken Foree was one of the main characters in the original DOTD. He played Peter - the black cop. In the Remake, he was the TV Evangelist.
Tom Savini (Makeup artist for DOTD) was the Biker with the machette in the original, and was the Sheriff on the News cast in the remake. (You'll see him in several of the movies that he does the special FX makeup for).
Although Steven (Flyboy) was played by David Emgee in the original and Andy (Gun shop owner) was played by Bruce Bohne in the remake, they sure in the hell look alot alike...don't you think? Coincidence or Conspiracy? ;)
Any other cameos come to mind? What about in other original to remake movies?:confused:

You forgot that Scott H Reiniger (Roger from the original) was the general at fort pastor :)
Also, in the mall, there is a store called "Gaylen Ross", named for the woman who played Fran in the original.
Not as obvious, the helocopter seen when anna is driving out of town is a computer version of the one used in the original dawn.

The roger one i figured out pretty quickly.
the other two... well, the director's commentary gets credit for that.

Damn! Missed all three of those, guess I better drag them out and pay more attention this time!:D
