Man Accused Of Using Gun Over Potty Training Incident
Trumbull, Connecticut- A Trumbull man has been charged with putting a gun to his wife's head, to get her to toilet train their toddler son.
Police say 42-year-old Victor Velasquez had put a loaded rifle to the wife's head Tuesday night, angry because their two-year-old son had soiled his diaper.
Police say Velasquez told his wife he was fed up because the boy was not yet toilet trained. Police say he got a rifle, loaded it and pointed at his wife's head and threatened to "blow her head off" unless she properly toilet trained the boy.
A relative walked in at that point and police say Velasquez dropped the gun and ran out of the house. He was arrested later.
