"Its like being on a plane when you know its gonna crash. Everyone around you is screaming 'we're goin down, we're goin down'..and all you really wanna do is grab the person next to you and fuck the shit outta them cause you know your going to be dead soon anyway."

HORRIBLE. The movie sucked. Oh except for the guy who wrote it, his character at the beginning was pretty funny. "Oh yeah, he's a professor......of being a dog! OHHH FACED"

Dr. Mambo... Hahaha. That was funny.

Ummm.. I didn't hate the movie. I liked it enough to buy it, but I don't love it. It's kinda entertaining.

I thought that the casting could have been done little better. I hated most of the main cast.. even the kid that bites and does karate had more of an impact on me than most of the main characters put together.

The only half decent main character was the guy that had the gun at the beginning and was going to shoot gay squirels. He was funny.

i liked it ...
it was fairly origional (by todays standards) but still had some of the elements i like from other movies.

It was miles above House of the Dead and RE2 and the Village.
Maybe thats not saying much but I was happy to see something better than those shits.

I agree. It's not on my re-watch list anytime soon, but it had some good scenes, and of course it left an opening for a sequal.

I LOVED it. Being a Troma fan it seemed to go along those lines. If the ending was Troma-ific, I don't know what. Considering Eli Roth is a Troma fan, you can see where some of his inspirations came from. I didn't find it as bad as others. I bought it and have watched it at least a half dozen times since getting it. I am one of the few people that loved it. My friend was must be other one from reactions. I found it higly entertaining and very original, but just like urgeok said you can see other elements from other movies. When was the last time a horror movie came out about a flesh eating viurs and a group of friends is stuck in the middle of nowhere to get away from it?

I really like Cabin Fever. I heard people say it fuckin' sucked. But its a Horror Comedy and you can't treat it like a REAL SERIOUS horror movie. I don't know what was soo bad about it

You talk about being original....then you knock The Village? I think that was a decent movie, and was definatly one if the most original in awhile. Also, if you were looking for horror...sure, RE would have been pretty bad. But that was one hell of a rip roaring action flick, I loved it for what it was. Anyone who thinks it horror though.... Idiots.

Btw, I havnt seen Cabin Fever yet, lol. Looks pretty decent...

I think the whole 'Pankcakes" thing was retarded. That kid almost runied the movie for me.

Oof Faced! <---- I <3 that part

The gore makes it worth buying. When they open the shed door and she's still alive but no lips.

I loved Denis!

The feeling of randomness made the movie so funny and thought it was done very well by Eli Roth. I also liked that you could watch the Rotten Fruit in the DVDs Special features. Favorite character=Bert

"Bert what are you doing with that gun?"
"Im going to shoot some squirrels."
"Why?"
"Because their gay."
"What the fuck?!"
"Com'on im just kidding. I dont care if their gay i'll shoot em anyways."

I was pretty dissapointed with it. Maybe I should watch it again tho. All the shitty ex sitcom stars kinda ruined it for me and I was expecting a a lot more gore. I was under the impression it was going to be a zombie movie. But yeh like I said I might have to check it out again.

Cabin Fever ruined my friday evening. I was drunk and it still sucked big time!
I think that this Eli Roth person, who created this piece of shit, should be killed and his body should be burned with his films.

CF had the same quality, (for me) that re-watching some older Horror sequals or 2nd shelf flicks does. Not really scary, kind of campy, and predictable, but fun. The gore, allbeit not much, prob earned it, it's Horror tag.

The Village, was promoted as a Horror film, very dark and foreboading. Instead it was more of a psych thriller, with a suprise ending. Don't get me wrong, if I had not expected The Village to be what it was touted as being I wouldn't have been as disapointed with it overall. I'm sure it will kick butt when it comes out for rental next month.

Cold Creek Manor...now that was lame.

great idea .. a guy wastes your $3 rental and 90 minutes of your life and he should be murdered in cold blood.

i really think you need some fibre in your diet.

absolutely.
I hated The Village..for a lot of reasons. not just the bullshit way it was sold as a horror but also for the writing, the acting, and a 'twist' ending that i saw coming a mile away. (you have to remember that at my age i've seen a hell of a lot of movies and this one just wasnt good compared to almost everything else i've ever seen. RE2 failed for me too, as an action film OR a horror film.
2 movies that failed to involve me in any way shape or form.
But thats just me ..

I agree! Don't take movies so seriously and you'll enjoy them more. But I enjoyed House Of The Dead so I'm probably not the person to listen to :p

I quite enjoyed it. There were a few cool scenes that made me go "ergh" like the fingering scene and the leg shaving. I would't say it was great horror but I would say if your at home & thats all thats on the movie channels, then you should watch it. People already mentioned the funny parts but I loved the way it ended with the old man being down with the "niggaz".

I loved it. It payed omage to the classic films of the 70's and 80's while bringing its own blend of horror and comedy to the screen. I still dont understand why people dont like it then again i dont see how people like the ring, wrong turn, or 28 days later

I really liked this movie. I mean it wasn't as if it took itself seriously. It was hillarious and KRUGERKID13 said there were some nice references...and come on...the fingering the leg scene? Classic.

I enjoyed Cabin Fever, wasn't the best movie I've ever seen but just a good campy fun movie.

The Rotten Fruit extras were worth the purchase of the dvd.

just saw it. I know I'm a little late to see it. but i didn't like it too much. it was built up to be like old school you know and then I wanted to see some hackin'. But it was a disease. The movie just didn't get me goin' and I just thought it was two ideas, (camping and a disease in the water) that really didn't go well together. other thatn that, it was a bit humorous and had a fun element to it and that was in keeping with the old school vibe.
