Hello everyone.
I am a new member in this board.
I find ghost stories very facinating, and have been watching most ogthe ghost movies around.
But somehow, i am not convinced that ghosts can harm us.
I am a strong believer of God, and think that if i ever, ever encounter a ghost, i will SCREAM the name of God, and that will take care of teh situation.
We all have studied basic physics in school and know the laws.
Things cant just move around from one place to another.
If ghosts can be omnipresent then why do they have to live in "Huanted homes".
Matter cannot be just created out of thin air, so how can ghosts just appear and then suddenly dissapear!
I AM NOT TRYING TO RIDICULE ANYONE'S BELIEF.
I AM JUST TRYING TO SEEK KNOWLEDGE!
Since you guys have been on this forum for a long time, i am sure you would be knowing MUCH more than me about ghosts.
It will be very nice if some of you could share a REAL scary experience.
An incident that would make me (or someone else), really believe that ghosts are true and tha we are completely helpless in front of them.
No silly incidents, like strange tickle in the hand, or dogs barking, or candles going off! they could just be freak co-incidents.
Has anyone ALIVE "seen" a real ghost.
Please enlighten me more about thye most facinating topic of my life.
Waiting for your replies.

If you want info, and some "evidence", you should definatly check out these videos. Not all of the deal with ghosts, but a good deal of them. Have fun. And no, they are not screamers.

if there are ghosts i would love to see the explaination as to why/how/who becomes one.
And considering the number of people who have died since the beginning of time ...there should be a shitpile of them.
We wouldnt be able to get to our goddamn cars in the morning without tripping over 10,000 of them or so.
but no .. every now and then someone sees one ...

I have to say, I'll believe it when I see one. On the other hand I do believe there is energy released when someone or something dies.

Check out my thread Ghosts..?
I have sort of tried to forget about it because it creeped me out so much. They picked the corn in the field where the old school house had stood, and I have meant to go over there, but with the haunt, and turkey day, and now Christmas...I've been kinda busy. Maybe this week I'll go check it out.

every day for the rest of my life with the exception of a few scattered holidays and vacations, i will have to get up early and go to work.
until i'm too old to enjoy anything life has to offer .. then i get to retire.
there's a REAL scary experience.
REAL as in something that ACTUALLY happens.
your fake ghosts are nothing compared to the bitter reality of becoming an adult and assuming the day to day responsibilities that you will face.
which is why people make all of this other shit up - as an escape from reality for a little while.

i understand where you're coming from but this stuff does ACTUALLY happen. Just because it doesnt happen to you or whenever you see something about it you think it's all bullshit that doesnt nullify the fact that it happens.

yes there is ghosts, they are not hyumin like you and me, they are spirit, they are part of spirit vold and don't show up all the time like on TV. sometimes you have to change the channel a lot to find what your looking for

I notice, by the way, that you, movieman64, built a halloween haunt. GOOD FOR YOU, that's one of the three or four best things a person can do with his or her time, I try to do it whenever I can. Way back in the early 80's (when I was in high school), I worked on a March of Dimes haunted house that was gigantic--44 rooms large, and it took almost an hour to get through the thing. Because it was community-built, it had a home-made charm that purely "commercial" haunts do not have. Hand-crafted by real horror geeks!
Also, the fact that you built a haunted house attraction is positive proof that you have personally faked all the ghosts you're talking about. Therefore, all ghosts ever seen by anyone are fakes produced by you personally. This cancels out anything good that you might have done, and makes you evil.

I do want to thank you for the compliment. It is a labor of love for me. I have already started the planning on next year’s haunt. We are going to call it, “Lost Ridge Asylum”. The property we locate on has a wooded ridge on one side so it seemed fitting. There will be an Insane Asylum theme (duh). We are talking about locating it further back in a wooded area, and using a short hayride with props and scenes to transport the patrons. I have been working on the back-story and hope to have it done by the end of January, then the prop building can begin.
Our haunt only took about 30 min to go through, but we also had a graveyard with props and effects outside. We also had a concession area that went over good; we did great, made some great donations and had loads of fun.

I'd like a nice female ghost to fondle me during the night, while I'm asleep..... I could film the Entity Sequal then, but this time round it'd be real scary :D

you say it's hard to believe in ghost and you mention the laws of physics how something can't just move from one place to another and if they can be omnipresent then why do they have to live in haunted houses.
first off you say you're a strong believer in God and the laws of physics have no explination for God or how he created the earth in seven days ect.
and as far as haunted houses go they don't have to live there the reason they are called haunted houses is because of the ghost or ghosts that are there so they don't pick out a haunted house to live in they go to the house and it becomes haunted.
now about being ''helpless in front of them'' i personally havent been harmed by a apparition but i have come in contact with one not contact has in touching or communicating just in terms of seeing the fucker.
