Does anyone remember a Bing Crosby Christmas special and David Bowie was a guest where Bowie came on stage, he and Bing talked about their kids and then did a duet of Little Drummer Boy? Even now when I hear the song on the radio I giggle remembering Bing and Bowie talking about their kids! What an odd pairing!

Off-topic, but regarding x-mas songs...
The only recorded x-mas song I dig I think is done by Paul McCartney. But I can NEVER think of the damn name of the song!
Anybody have any idea?

I'm working on it, Hap! Too bad there's no site for music like IMDB.

I found it! (awww, I feel so warm and fuzzy. It's the bells that get me with this song).
Wonderful Christmas Time
The mood is right
The spirit's up
We're here tonight
And that's enough
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
The party's on
The feeling's here
That only comes
This time of year
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
The choir of children sing their song
They practiced all year long
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
The word is out
About the town
To lift a glass
Ahhh don't look down
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
The choir of children sing their song
They practiced all year long
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong

*puts on hat....does best Frank Sinatra impression*
When I was seventeen
It was a very good year
It was a very good year for small town girls
And soft summer nights
We’d hide from the lights
On the village green
When I was seventeen
When I was twenty-one
It was a very good year
It was a very good year for city girls
Who lived up the stair
With all that perfumed hair
And it came undone
When I was twenty-one
When I was thirty-five
It was a very good year
It was a very good year for blue-blooded girls
Of independent means
We’d ride in limousines
Their chauffeurs would drive
When I was thirty-five
But now the days grow short
I’m in the autumn of the year
And now I think of my life as vintage wine
>from fine old kegs
>from the brim to the dregs
And it poured sweet and clear
It was a very good year
It was a mess of good years
