We had the worst luck this past weekend. First of all, our godamn oiltank ran out.we have spent the entire weekend so far heating the house with candles and baking. It been a bit rough on our pets.
Next, we got the Audition through Netflix. So far, i havenet been allthat impressed with Japanese horror flicks, but this one is amazing.
So far.
We got all the way up to Aoyama finding out that the owner of the Stone Fish was murdered a year before, and the fucking DVD went tits up. there was a part of the disc wher eit looks like some color was pressed into it when it was made, and the fucking thing wouldnt play any further.....
So now we have to wait until Netflix sends us another one so we can watch the end of it.....

i think i'd be more worried about the oil running out.
the temperature just fropped like a rock here in beaver-land and we're getting the 1st major snowstorm of the year ..
and as usual people cant drive for shit.
I just turned around and came home .. i dont need to be stuck doing the highway tango for 90 minutes.
anyway vod ... with a pretty lady like that .. and your bob fixation .. i though you'd be heating the house via friction ..
and the only baking would be - baby muffins :)

ah yeah, thats the trouble when moving to a new place.
how long will 100 gal last? is that stuff expensive?
A old Church my Parents go to is heated with oil tank fed heaters...seams bit old fashioned or ancient to have a modern house heated with one. Would have thought conventional heating would be cheaper.
btw sorry to hear about the fish.

We are back in business. the temperature at home is now liveable.
The sad irony to the fish freezing to death is that they recieved a burial at sea, by that i mean they got dumped into the freezing stream out back. Seems a bit more respectful than flushing them down the toilet.

I'm Sorry about your fish.
Here in Texas the weather can get miserably cold--but not dangerously cold.
Not too many years ago I lived in the country and heated with propane. The tank was in the backyard, the gauge didn't work, and you had to pour hot water on the tank and see where the level was by where the ice froze from the hot water--what a bitch!
And you always ran out when it was cold and muddy and they couldn't get the truck close enough to the tank to fill it.
I had 14 dogs at the time so it gave additional meaning to Three Dog Night.

The New England aquarium in boston has 3 different types of penguins in it. Adilae, Rock Hopper, and Little blue. All 3 species are tiny. All 3 smell like massive loads of wet pigeon shit, so i must agree with urge.
They are the cutest little dickens, though, arent they?

yeah i love the little buggers :) We see them at our zoo all the time .. you want to pick them up, the cute little chili-willy pengu, mo-fos.
but DAY-YUM ... they smell to high heavens .. no matter what you say The_Return :)
(maybe you cant smell 'em cause you're starting to assiciate with them a little too closely :)
and it looks like - according to the new movie Madagascar - that they are also little devils ...
