I have heard about this whole picture thing alot! From the members here and from my mother...I am afraid to click on a thread because I am afraid of what it may contain...have these pictures been done away with yet? are there any safe threads anymore?

I have to agree with my daughter that this forum just isn't the place to 'expose' kids to this sort of thing...Sure, this place is awash in irrelevance that has absolutely NOTHING to do with horror, and we have come to accept that...BUT, that doesn't change the fact that kids should not have to see this shit...

So tell me now, that "Kids shouldn't be here anyway" or, "If the parents are concerned, they should monitor their kids so that they DON'T see it, or they should not allow their children to visit here"...And to that I will tell you that the love of the horror genre knows NO age boundary...We ALL loved horror as children, and the children should be permitted to participate in 'Horror' discussions, without being subjected to PORN...My children ARE monitored in ALL of their internet activities, as well as any other activity that they participate in...That is why Wicked Lady has "heard about" these pictures, but hasn't actually SEEN them...

If the pictures were in a "Check Out this Dick Picture" thread, it wouldn't be so bad, we could just avoid that thread...BUT, when you truly have no desire to see that shit, and it could be in ANY thread, it makes it difficult to check out the forum AT ALL...

If we DO wish to see those things, I have heard that there ARE porn sites on the internet:rolleyes: ...However, THIS is not one of them...

Wicked Lady has never even SEEN a dick, and I certainly don't feel that this forum is the place that she should witness it for the first time...I can understand the way she feels because I never saw a dick until I was 17 years old...At which point, I started laughing and couldn't stop...My boyfriend at the time seemed a little hurt by my reaction, but I couldn't help it...It was a little shocking to me...as well as funny...It actually made me feel really sorry for you males...I kept thinking, "What a terrible thing to have to deal with...How can they sit down or cross their legs without smashing it?...Wouldn't it hurt when they ran?...and those things hanging off it...ugh...gross"...I had many more thoughts and questions about it, but I think he was getting tired of trying to answer them...And he was also getting pissed off..Kinda killed the 'mood'...oops:D

This is the internet, yes this is a horror board, and no matter how horrifying MD's one eyed trouser mouse may have been, yes it was inappropriate to post it. BUT the fact still remains that this is the internet. Someone is always going to push the buttons, someone is always going to see just how much they can and cannot get away with.

You are going to find this kind of stuff on damn near every forum on the web, its unfortunately not going to go away, and expressing dislike for it, will undoubtedly cause those posts to return. Sometimes its done by those that are known, purely as a joke, others do it, why? Just because you said you dont like it.

Suck it up, move on, and those with the ability to Mod should do it with an Iron Fist *thinking I just painted a target on my back now*. And if you lack the testicular fortitude to do that, then delete your account, head on over to Nick Jr. and catch a cartoon or two. ok so that is 16 out of the millions of other forums online, tis why I said "damn near" all of them. But mine is not an argument per se, its merely a point as well, that shit happens. If it is so terrible then dont open the threads, I know that is easier said than done, and yes you are right that WL shouldnt have to wonder if someones wee willy winkie is gonna pop up like some X rated pop goes the weasle. Im personally not fond of opening a thread and seeing MD's lack of personal Manscaping, but still I struggle through and look for other content within the thread. Disable the ability to see the attachments and if the desire to see what is posted after reading the thread is there, then re-enable and go back in for a look.
