Valve has released the latest patch today that contains an official HL2 Deathmatch Mod and the Full Source SDK. Those of you who have been waiting for this moment will be pleased to know all you have to do is restart steam and start Modding!

was only about 7 servers all full up when I looked, shouldnt be long before more are up and running.

I have actually been DYING to get my hands on the full sdk. I want to make a horror mod, and i dont want to be one of those douchebags that comes up with an idea and expects everyone else to do all the work.
i would proabably do the following:
Some mapping
Some modeling
Some voice acting
Writing
Some coding

Had a couple of hours on this tonite. The gravity guns a right laugh. Its a bit manic though. no room for campers which is always a good thing.
