i think they should remake day of the dead but keep the same zombies they had in the dawn of the dead remake fast a little bit smarter zombies that was some scary moments in the movie

I think he's right, I mean I'm a big fan of Romero's and always will be but the new zombies are kick ass. And more threatening. thumbs up for Zack Snyder

The new zombie movies are action movies with no soul, no suspense. All they satisfy are the a.d.d. casual fans who just want to see cool looking shit, rather than an actual story. Garbage!
If anyone remakes it, it should be Romero making the Day of the Dead he originally wrote. Anyone else is unqualified, including Mr. Snyder.

if the zombies were always fast ... there would be no escaping them .... as illustrated in the Dawn remake.
It makes things more desperate .. but not more scary.
theres something about mindless deliberation of the slow zombies that is creepier.
if you want to see what i mean, watch the people christmas shopping at the mall in the next few weeks .. especially the guys ...
arms outstretched ... wandering aimlessly... clueless..

i always thought they'd start out with a bit of mobility at first .. but as soon as they started to stop moving around rigor mortis would set in and they would certainly slow down.
but i guess if you can suspend your disbelief enough to accept the dead coming back to life for the sole purpose of eating the living then i guess they can run in zombie marathons for that matter ..

It better be Romero making his original DAY script or I will bludgeon whomever responsible.
I met George a few months back, and he really disapproved of the Dawn remake. I would be real disappointed if his sequel(reckoning) is put on the back burner for some other hack to remake Day. From what he told me, Reckoning was finally getting close. Oh well, we shall see.

Completely agree. My worst nightmares are never something running after me. Its always something slowly making its progression towards me and I have no where to go. Kind of like knowing you're going to die, but the torture of WHEN is worse than the actual event.

More threatening? George & Lucios zombies ate people that was threatening. The new zombies? Ummm they chase you & then tackle you & im not sure what they do after that because Mr Snyder has nt got any bollocks. And don t get me started on that wanker Anderson making kids films. The lack of glop in new zombie films really pisses me off.
