what's a movie that horror enthusiasts swear by but you have yet to see? my big one would be the original dawn of the dead. yeah, let the flaming begin, but in both my two decades of horror consumption this one has slipped through the cracks for me. also, i fell asleep watching hellraiser a couple years ago and still haven't finished it (even though i own it) nor have i seen the sequals.

I have not seen any of the Friday 13th movies.
It's not that I don't want to, but they don't ever seen to have the original movie on DVD at any video store that I am a member of.
They always have 2, 3 etc but never 1.
I was going to buy it the other week, but I thought that I should at least have seen it before I buy it. I have had many regrets in the past when I have bought a film without having seen it first eg Traffic.

i can cross The Eye off my list .. just saw it last night.
Not bad, a couple of effective moments ..
But bad music and some akward editing on the scene changes.
If it was supposed to be choppy and unsettling it didnt work .. it was just distracting.
Shitload of spelling mistakes on the subs too ...
Still thought it was ok ... a couple of good chills .

Never seen Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, or the Mummy.
Never seen any of the Candyman or Sleepaway sequels, the originals were bad enough...
