...of these two films, from the brief descriptions if you can. Both of them are oldish. I was quite young when I saw them both.
First off... the first film scene, there was a group of people trapped or barracading themselves inside some sort of barn or house, in some woods. The building only had one level. Outside the house, there were these Yeti type monsters trying to get into the building.
The people inside had weapons like shotguns. Many of the films shots were made from the view of the 'Yeti's' eyes, towards the building, as they creeped around outside the house through bushes. I remember most of the attacks happening during dusk or nightime.
The second film scene, and I've asked about this one before.....and was told it might be The Entity, but I've just watched that film, and it wasnt.
The only scene in the film I remember, was when a woman was in her living room cleaning her house, she heres a strange noise, and when she turns round there is an apparition of some sort of ghost that is moving about. It moves towards her, then disapears through the opposite wall...very creepy scene. I think the woman was in her fourties or older. One title I've heard of is The Haunted, but not sure if it's this one. If anyone has seen The Haunted, was there a scene like the one discribed.

i don't know the first one. but the second is most likely the haunted. thats if the woman was doing the ironing and the ghost moves past her and through the wall into her mother inlaws house.( they were living in a duplex type thing.) and thats were the mother in law first sees the ghost. and starts to finaly believe her daugther inlaw.

the first one reminds me of The Day the World Ended.
But i havent seen it in so long i cant remember if there was more than one creature or what it looked like ..

The first one is probably Night of the Demon (1980/James C Wasson) - though there is only one Bigfoot/Yeti monster on the offensive.
If you have seen that movie uncut, you should remember the motorcyclist having his cock graphically ripped off by said monster?

yeah .. thats Bigfoot ... I have that movie .. nasty scene .
the guy is taking a piss into a bush and this big hairy hand comes out :)
For a bigfoot movie that was pretty raunchy .. like the guy getting beaten with his own intestines ...
Dont think this is the one Shanks is looking for .. i suspect he's talking about an older black and white film from the 50s ?

The first one to me sounds like 'Critters' to me.
As mentioned above it has been a while since I have seen it, but I am pretty sure they are in a barn at one point of the movie. And there were several Critters after the humans which fits your description.
Can you remember spikes being shot at people from the creatures at all? They do that.
I don't what yeti's look like, so I can't comment on any similarity between the two.

nope the 60's .... but it would make sense that he would see a 50's film when he was young ...
I think Night of the Demons was early to mid 80's wasnt it ?

I think I saw the first scene you described. It wasn't a movie, it was a reenactment of an alleged bigfoot encounter on one of those unexplained mysteries shows.

wu's answer two the 2nd scene sounds promising. I'd searched on imdb for a film that may fit the scene, and The Haunted was one that came up. Trying to find it on DVD now.
as for the 1st, The Day The World Ended is either far to late (2001 on imdb) or too early (1956) to be that film. I do remember it being in colour.
Night Of The Demon (1980), does have the right sort of synopsis to be the film to contain that scene, but I think I would have remembered a scene with some bloke getting his dick ripped off lol....will check it out though.
It's not Critters, I know that for sure.
And I'm sure it wasnt a reenactment show....definitely a film.
