a few years ago back in the 1950's near glasgow, scotland. uk. there was a bloke named peter manuel, who was hanged for killing a family. some time back however he often went to a small village called uddingston. here he met my dad and his sister. he dated her for a few times until my dad told him where to go. here manuel pulled out a gun and threatened my dad. needless to say my dad (six foot two and 190 lbs) told him to put away the toy and whalloped him.
afew months later it turned out that mauel was a convicted killer! who used to wear 'sneakers' to creep up on people.
the family who he killed lived in a house near powburn toll at the entrance to uddingston. creepy huh.
also around the corner from where i stay a man was drunk and was shouting at his wife. she ran upstairs into the bathroom and locked herself in. she wouldn't open the door so the husband got a pick axe and broke the door down and then started on the wife. i can remember the police going around all the neighbours asking us if we knew or heard anything. this was sometime in the late 1970's early 80's. the husband was sent to carstairs ( a prison for the criminally insane) and i think he is still there.
