Looking around, I see...
*A blue framed chinese silk tapestry type thing depicting a scene by the water.
*Some big bronze shield/plate type thing with lions, serpents and turtles, intricate little carvings....found it at an antique store...
*Some framed pictures, acrtic wolves and panthers...
*This rather functional, very strangely shaped black wooden hang-up shelf type thing on which is a few books, a bobbing head dog, a few scented candles and pretty damn big amethyst stone.
*A dreamcatcher, but that's on my roof
*A round framed mirror atop my chest of drawers

Hmm...that's about it, I'm "over" posters n shit like that...

Dante, he's most likely referring to an artist by the name of
"H.R Giger" who among some VERY strange "cyber/organic/weird" art also (If I'm correct) designed the original Alien, and the creature in the movie "species", probably among other things.
Very interesting stuff, you can usually pick Gigers work when you see it. If you want to take a look, arioch would probably be willing to post some, if not, have a look under "pictures" in kazaa, there's no shortage of it there.

This is pretty much a virtual your of my basement ..
The other 2 floors are free of my junk .. just the normal family pictures and paintings ...
But the basement is mine :)

My office is crammed full of junk .. I love it ..
The rest of the basement (other than laundry/furnace/storage) is all movies and music.

I resized most of the pics pretty small .. the 2 i left larger are the DVD/VCD/Laserdisc wall. (the lasers are the things that look like albums on the 2 bottom rows.) The DVDs are 2 rows deep in places.
The other pic i left big is the audio/visual stuff .. and you can see the 8' screen i use with the electrohome projector on the opposite wall (no picture.)

Ladies and gentlemen .... this is the basement that guys love and wives hate ! :)

ahhhh crap .. how do you post more than one image at a time ???

oh yeah baby, he grew up and went to high school in my city before he moved to the US. so he was here for a charity thing and to speak at graduation 2 years ago. i was at both (no i wasn't stalking) he signed my survivor scrapbook like 5 times and signed the picture. and he's just as cute in person i have to say. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

i have a mural on my wall, a neato tree with a blu ribbon, and some angels and blu ribbon. previous owners had it done

Well Seattle and Portland both get them a few times a year. I love it. I missed the last Portland show. It sucked, but it was ok. I usually spend about 600 dollars when I go.

wow thats some serious purchasing .. I cant see how it would be possible to hold off though.

Here in Toronto we had a Fangoria Weekend of Horror ..about 12 or 13 years ago and it was a blast ..I dont think there's been one since.

I was just getting established and didnt have a lot of cash to spend then but i did get a set of Scream Queen cards, a Night of the Living Dead presskit that Tom Savini signed for me, and a poster of Leanna Quigey that she signed for me ..(she was one of the scream queens in the card set)

I would love it if they had another one of those conventions.

Re. collections .. i also collect Godzillas (as you can see from the 1st picture) and anything else movie related - a lot of Disney stuff for my kid too ..but i have to do it the slow way .. thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets.

matt is the sweetest. he just talked about everything, even jeff leaving the WWE, it was right after that happened. he signed my book and everything. the first time i met matt jeff was late so i didn't actually talk to him but i was in the front row and during matt and jeff vs tommy dreamer and steven richards i had my hardy boys sign over the barrier and steven and tommy came over to me and started yelling about the sign and what pussys the hardy were, and then i looked up to the ring and jeff was standing there and winked at me and gave me a thumbs up. it was awesome, i think i almost stopped breathing.

oh and the big show borrowed my sharpie that time too. he was like "can i borrow this doll?" and i could barely even form a response. what i really wanted to know was, is he really big all over.

I've been to two house shows both raw and smackdown, have gone to unforgiven in 2003. i have only pics from the raw one... i believe it was his 2nd to last event with the wwe. i once talked to jeff for about 30 min ... iwould hve got and auto graph but i forgot my hardyz book i will scan a few now

Again - its a miracle if i find any - you just dont see a lot around
and if you do in the asian stores - they are costly..
I did find one old big classic Godzilla in a Goodwill - its my fave.

Hey cool racing collection pics I love auto racing. I like Formula 1 racing best and Indy car racing and Sprintcar racing. I like some Nascar drivers Tony Stewart and like most I liked Dale Earndhardt. I wish Tony Stewart would go back and race in the IRL I think he is wasting his time in Nascar. I would like to see him win the Indy500. My fave Racing Drivers are Mario Andretti AJ Foyt Johnny Rutherford Tony Stewart Michael Andretti Sammy Swindell Jan Opperman &Buddy Taylor. Some of these drivers are dead some retired but still involved in racing. In the world of racing Michael schumacher rules!!!!

Im not posting a pic up of our room. Its kinda plain but we like it. I gotta james dean framed pic up. Yknow the one from the maccas add hehe.

What else.. we have like 5 things up on the wall. Not including the glow in the dark crazy string which I went nuts with.
I have garfield hanging from the ceiling ( no not by the neck, he is a bat garfield).

No posters are allowed. I hate em.

posters are ok if they are properly framed .. and in an appropriate place ... they just dont work in a house .. unless it's the movie room in the basement :)

the only one i have up now is the Jay and Silent Bob poster in my office but I plan to put my framed movie posters on the wall of the stairway to the basement. I dont think any are horror related .. I have tie me up tie me down, the pope of greenwich villiage, and Tampopo.

I have a Monsters Inc poster hand signed by the 5 lead voice actors ... but its not framed yet

Well the annoying this is, we dont live in a house. Its a top floor unit. If I had the choice the walls would be painted black haha. lots of glow in the dark stuff haha.. Play some of that music that shanks put um and get wasted haha..

I dont hate posters. I agree. If there framed they look better.
How cool to have the monsters inc one tho.

Anyway, a few more things on my wall, that I forgot about. Signed poster from a production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" I went to a few years back, plus posters for 3 of the plays Ive been in, signed by most of the cast of each [Peter Pan, Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang, and Our Town]

Ive been trying to get some horror movie posters, but I cant find anywhere that sells any around here, and anything decent is waaay too expensive over the internet...
