I'll be the first to say this movie has scarred me for life.
I saw it with my family at a drive-in back in like '76 or something like that. I was so scared I went into a panic attack and we had to leave the drive-in. That's the only time in my life that's ever happened. Of course I was only 5 at the time so....you know...
I haven't watched it since but I'm facinated by the story.
I'd like to know what the true story of it is.

Based on a true story that happened in Texarcana on the Tex/Ark border in 1946. That's only a few hours from me, might go there some time and check out public records to get the facts......could be interesting.

I love this movie! I saw it in the theatres back in the 70's and it scared the hell out of me. Don't know if it still holds up but it was a fun show back then. And Dawn Wells was hot.
