I spent the day with Gunnar Hansen!

Yesterday!!! :D I went to Tennessee to see him at an autograph signing...and I asked him to go do something with me the next day, and he did! I can't believe it! He's so nice! He autographed 5 things for me, and I got 2 hugs! :D We ate lunch together(actually he had breakfast) and I got to ride the tram in Gatlinburg with him! Here are a couple of pictures(sorry I look terrible--I look a little better in the autographed picture but my scanner won't work right now)!

So I'm really excited right now(still)! The only thing that made my trip bad was that I got stung by a bee! :mad: The first time I've ever been stung! :o

Haha! The first picture was taken Tuesday night at the autograph signing. The second picture was taken Wednesday afternoon at the restaurant, when we hung out. :D

You never know until you ask...you should have asked. :p I had no idea that Gunnar would hang out with me...I asked him and he got my phone #...I figured he was just trying to be nice, but I figured he was thinking "Yeah right...I'm not spending any free time with her!" :p But luckily, he didn't think that, and he did call me!! I was shocked, but very happy. :D :D

When I found out Gunnar was going to be in Tennessee, I HAD to go cause I love him. :p I thought at first that I wasn't going to be able to, and that depressed me...so I'm very happy that I actually got to go. :D

I'd like to go to a horror convention. Gunnar actually mentioned a horror convention while we were talking...I mentioned that I could never find a size small TCM shirt(I eventually ended up buying a medium which is pretty huge on me but I wear it anyway) and he said he had smalls once at a horror convention but I think he gave most of them away because he said most people he saw at the conventions never bought size smalls.

yeah, I never thought he would actually do it...but I figured it can't hurt to ask. All he could do was say "no"...and thankfully, he didn't say no! :D I'm glad I was first in line, or else somebody else may have asked him... or then again, who knows...maybe I was the only one who asked him to do anything. There was one guy there acting crazy though, and I was glad I got to ask before...I missed it, but apparently he came out jumping up and down and screaming after meeting Gunnar. :p But I'm not sure that Gunnar would wanna spend a day with someone like that. I always hear celebs like it better when people treat them like normal people, which is what I do. I don't scream and act crazy around them. :p

I was a dj (like rave shizzle) for a few years and met a bunch of big names there. no celebrities. i mean, i was a bit of a celeb in my circlle. people knew me as thor with the pentagram hoodie. my stage show had me spinning hardcore and spitting fake blood on people. my first cd was dj thor hates you and my new one is called the sound of ravers getting hurt. I haven't met any big celebs other than rob gee who made the style i play (hardcore). i've met a bunch of hardcore bands (snapcase, earthcrisis, 10 yard fight, etc) blaah blah, i didn't meet leather face though or party boy.

Man i can relate to that ...
The only horror convention I was ever at (about 13 years ago)
I also had my camera .. I had dropped it the day before but it seemed fine ..
I snapped pics all day .. Leanna Quigley, Tom Savini, Kane Hodder, and Herchel Gordan Lewis .. who actually was thrilled i wanted his picture and made me stand beside him with his arm around me ... (2000 maniacs was the 1st horror movie I'd ever bought)
I realized something was wrong when I had taken 36 pics and the film kept going.

Sure enough a tiny tooth had broken on the sprocket that advances the film. I had 4 pictures of vendors booths .. then one completely blank frame where i had taken about 40 pics - one on top of the other. I could have cried !

I still got autographs from all the people but i really wish i had that H G Lewis pick today ...
