I have 18 years of skateboarding under my belt. I have dislocated kneecaps, got rocks stuck in my flesh, nearly broke my tailbone, took a chip out of my forehead and my nose, and plenty of other injuries. I suck at it ever since my knees fucked up. It makes it hard to even push, because they want to pop out at such random times. I still love it though. Skating Burnside is the best.

He was a boy
She was a girl
Can I make it anymore obvious?
He was a punk.
And she did ballet.
What more can I say?
He wanted her.
She'd never tell.
Secretly she wanted him as well.
And all of her friends
Stuck up their nose.
And they had a problem with his baggy clothes.
He was a sk8er boi she said see ya later boi.
He wasn't good enough for her.
She had a pretty face but her head was up in space.
She needed to come back down to earth.
Five years from now she sits at home feeding the baby she's all alone.
She turns on TV and guess who she sees.
Sk8er boi rocking up MTV.
She calls up her friends.
They already know
And they've all got tickets to see his show.
She tags along, stands in the crowd . Looks up at the man that she turned down.
He was a sk8er boi she said see ya later boi. He wasn't good enough for her.
Now he's a superstar slammin' on his guitar to show pretty face what he's worth.
Sorry girl but you missed out. Well tough luck that boi's mine now. We are more than just good friends. This is how the story ends.
Too bad that you couldn't see.. see the man that boi could be.
There is more than meets the eye, I see the soul that is inside.
He's just a boi, and I'm just a girl.
Can I make it anymore obvious?
We are in love.
Haven't you heard how we rock eachother's world?
I met the sk8er boi I said see ya later boi.
I'll be backstage after the show.
I'll be at the studio singing the song he wrote about a girl he use to know.

Although im sure it tought you alot your greatful for, i must agree with Dabromain on Tae kwon do....as i started with it myself....
I must admit im biased tho, my father is a 5th degree black in shotokan who i grew up under.....He now has his own school which you can check out...
Here:
www.texasmartialarts.net (http://www.texasmartialarts.net)
To get a black belt in Shotokan you must fucking devote your ENTIRE life to it, something i (with my meesly brown belt:o ) wasn't determined enough to do...

For me taking at such a young age was a great move. How many children do you know that NEED self defence? I think it's a good stepping stone for future studies. But you totally bashed it, basically saying it's good for nothing, waste of time. When infact it served a great purpose.

trust me on this one.......one of my passions is martial arts and aikido is by far the most practical......well next to jeet kun do........but aikido will help you immensely for the cop thing......you being a little thing and all.....i am sure you will have to deal with people much larger than yourself and aikido trains you to use their momentum against them......this little asian girl i was training with, she was my partner on many occasions, (fine as hell might i add)......anyway she was FUKING hardcore......i am a big boy and she was putting me in locks that made me scream like a little gurl......and she could throw me down with out thinkin about it.........mmmmm i think i was in love with her for a while HAHAHAH!!!

lol, wow i remember forced peprallies....in highschool they weren't allowed to take school time to do it, so the cheerleaders would stand in a row and block the exit to the school and make you go to the pep rally....
All trying to use their looks and short outfits to get people in there....they never saw a tougher egg to crack than i.....i might have made one of them cry, but i didn't stick around to find out....

it was horrid! i had to sit there in the sun burning and sweating, i hate sweating, but the band had to be there!!!! oh yes now that we're doing good they cant survive without the band! uh-shoot me, its so tiring, not to mention i never sleep, i never do anything, i never see anyone, i have no time for a relationship. my life as of this point consists of doing what other people want me to do!!! i couldnt even go to my friends homecoming, not like i would have danced much, but i had 2...2 homecoming dates!

agreed. I got in trouble at school for saying that. Of course, the exact phrase I used was "Maybe if the administration and faculty would spend a little less time fellating themselves over our useless sports teams and more time on actual education then their precious test scores wouldn't be so low." and I wrote it as part of an essay in the MAP test, but the point remains valid

I tried the boarding thing, couldnt quite get it, I had a buddy who probably put 100k miles on his board, he went everywhere on it.
Wasnt much for the skating either, but then again I used to go to the roller rink and skate backwards to some Queen tune or some shit like that.
Took Kenpo when I was a teen made brown belt, I find it to be the most practical of all martial arts, but what do I know.
Motorbikes was my thing, until I crashed mine and fucked my knee, no more crazy shit, sold my lowrider before I had kids. Been thinking of building an oldschool chopper, Indian Larry style but I want to wait until my tricycle motors are a bit older.
