Ok....One of my friends said today that Blink 182 and the Misfits would be called Pop music
Maybe Blink, but the Misfits? Wtf? Just because music is POPular doesnt make it Pop music...

Misfits is popular, but not pop, you wont hear them on many, if any at all, radio stations....
Blink 182 on the other hand IS pop, its everywhere, they over saturated the market and mainstreamed that nasal-vocal pop/punk sound we've all come to know and loathe as EMO!!!!!

Misfits in comparison to Cannibal Corpse or somesutch could be considered "poppy" in that it contains alot of melody.

I would have to say Misfits- no, but the misfits are god awful now. It consists of what, Dez, Marky Ramone and Jerry Only.
IMO everything for the misfits started to go downhill after Earth AD. The danzig days were the finest theres ever been.

all I have to say is you dont hear misfits on the radio and if you do it is because you live in a larger city. BUT blink you hear everywhere especially pop radio stations... Misfits still rock IMO

but how cant you consider those catchy cheerful songs that the misfits do as anything but pop its like nsynce but about horror and not girls and purbity i even heard that on justin timberlake's new album he will be remaking we are 138 and sometime in december they will be putting out a christmas album together
