Cold Case

Hey all, I thought I mighta posted about this already, but hey...seems like I didn't.
So far, the first 6 episodes have broadcasted here (aus)...
I like this show.
It's about this detective chick who investigates unsolved or "cold" cases.
It's a little like the csi series, but instead of "flashbacks/descriptions" of injuries/crimes, each show takes you back to a specific era in time in which the case started....and you get to see a short story pertaining to the lives of the victims and surrounding characters, some of which are under investigation during the "now" portion of the show.
Good stories, some pretty fucked up/sad stories, but they are told very well.
If anyone has not yet seen it, I'd reccomend this one.

there is a show over here called "Cold Case Files", but it is more like Investigative Reports or 60 Minutes than a drama. It deals with real cases. most are very fucked up and sad.

Actually both shows are showen over here. I have seen alot of cold case files it a kick ass shows.,

Yeah, Cold Case..tv drama. It comes on every Sunday night at 8pm EST. I know because my mom and I are addicted to it. Lilly rocks!! And she's nice on the eyes too. (Yes, I am a woman).

Agreed...I don't usually go in for blondes myself, but she's just...I dunno, the combination of looks and "presence" are more than pleasing to me...
Aint it cool how they do the flashback mini-movies throughout the show? It's got about the best soundtrack I've ever heard - the way they fit the music to the era just makes the scenes of the past seem all the more authentic.
Although, my favourite aspect of the show personally, would be how those that are involved in the case kinda temporarily turn into their past selves, kind of weird, but awesome...

i like these type of shows. not so much csi or law and order. as they r a bit too hollywood

but ya. this one, dr g medical examiner, new detectives, fbi files, maybe some others....

Shows like that are pretty good to watch.

It's pretty good but the finales where she 'sees' the dead people and an endless montage scored to some cheesy song finishes the show off, are pretty awful at times.
