It's like Halloween all year 'round there! They got a picture of a witch on a broomstick on everything, even the police cars!

I am currently drinking coffee from a mug I got from Salem. It has a picture of one of those diamond-shaped yellow road signs with a witch on it, with the caption "WITCH X-ING" beneath. It's great.

I love my mug.

I wish we had places like that in the Uk, every where here is so dull and miserable during autumn. Prefer it when it gets really cold and starts snowing, at least the woods and park are fun to walk through.

At least you get snow. Where I live, in Mississippi, it's the same fucking thing all year 'round. It's just now starting to get a little chilly ... but the leaves take their sweet time turning. Unfortunately, most of the trees around here are pines ... so they never change. It really sucks. I love the autumns in the north, where everything is gold, yellow, red and brown ...

I need to get out of here.

Think next time i visit the states, i wanna go to Boston and New England. All those places.

But gonna live in the states soon. West Coast baby. Hee hee. Gonna live and breath surfing.

dont envy you, living in the similar sort of climate all the time, with no big changes in weather.

I like the changes, gives you a sence of time, you feel like things are moving on, what with the hot weather during summer then autumn into winter... breaks the year up and things dont seam so mundane.

Another thing that I wouldnt like is spending christmas in Australia during the baking heat, my nextdoor neighbour loves it, goes there every year.

Christmas without snow is like good sex without a cigarette.

I'm orginally from Arizona. I prefer it there. This changing weather shit, with the cold and the snow .. Yuck.

I prefer 50 degree weather with clear skies on Christmas.

Come on ... you can't say there's nothing magical about that first snow. Especially at night time, when the Christmas lights are reflecting off the snow? Beautiful. Ever stand in a field covered with snow, with a clear, star-filled sky overhead? Very peaceful. Particularly because all the damn bugs are dead.

Can't stand fucking bugs. They're all over the goddam place here in Mississippi. Big fuckers, too, since we're so close to the equator.

I live in New England and I enjoy the change in seasons. Although the older I get the less I want the snow. A little is ok but when it gets over the 6 inch mark ,well that just sucks. I have been to Salem years ago. They are very hung up on their witches.

I can't smoke in the house ... I have to go outside. But to answer your question: yes. It does.

The only thing magical about the first snow is how homicidal it makes me feel. :D

I haven't been back to Salem, since the trials;)

For some reason, I seem to recall it as being quite hot for one of the northern states...hmmm...lol
