i got called in

police officers r exempt from serving. im not one, but i gave my lingo about how 'oh im learning this and blah blah'

so the defense kicked me off. LOL. wa sfunny cuz the judge said "think about it and i will ask u agian ok?'

well he forgot to ask me again so the defense goes "Ur honor, u were suppose to ask juror #7.." so he is like 'oh i forgot', asked me agian i said 'yes, i can be impartial'

meaning, defense had to kick me off as one of her 10. MUHAHHAHAHA I DONE fucked up your game bitch!

anyway, i suggest u get out of it. its boring. unless of course u work and work is willing to reimburse u (should). but i think ur a student, and that sucks missin class. could be 2 days, could be 2 weeks..

you COULD always skip out, but that depends on how big ur county is. here in SD they wouldnt have time to pursue you, but in any other smaller place...

luckly I aint been called up to do it..... yet, and hope I dont. One of my brothers iirc has had to do it twice. Just hope I dont, because that'll mean traveling about 10 miles to a right shit hole of an area to the courts.

Maybe you'll get on the Saddam Hussein case.

Or a Scott Peterson retrial. (Does anyone actually think the outcome will be anything but a hung jury?)

Jury duty is fun--UGH!

I've been called up several times--but only selected twice.

Being in Alabama you'll understand this: Someone paid $75,000.00 for a pair of breeding emus--they didn't!--in the heart of Texas Beef cattle country--They sued for return of their money because the birds wouldn't DO IT.

What a crock.

I don't know why people seem to hate jury duty. It's a day off of work and you get to hear someone's dirty laundry. I've never had to serve, but a chick I used to work with served on a case about drugs. By the end, she had a whole new wealth of knowledge about narcotics. Pretty cool, if ya ask me.

I wouldnt go.

If you dont want to do it, turn up with a swastika tattooed on the left side of your chest and a shaven head.
