This happened to me about 10 to 12 years ago, it happened once and then I took steps to protect myself from whatever entity it was but it was a scary moment.

I was sleeping in my bed, my girlfriend was with me, and I woke up to a very strange sensation. I felt like I was being suffacated (spelling?), I could not move my body at all, and I couldnt open my mouth to scream. I remember having this sensation that this is what it is like to die. I dont know how much time had gone by that I remained in this state, but I remember arching my back and taking a huge deep breathe and coming out of it. I know that I had the feeling of a presence in the room that was doing this to me.

I have read that this happens to over 30% of the population, it is a phenom called hagging. I have also read that it has happened for as long as history has been written and recorded in all different cultures.

After the Vietnam war, several Vietmanese refugees had moved to Minnesota and settled there, not sure why Minnesota, but that is a moot point. Now these folks could not practice their religion the way that they wanted because they lived in apartments. Turns out that nearly 70% of the men from Vietnam died unexplained from this type of syndrome. When these people were able to move out of the cities and into the outlying areas, they became able to practice their religion and protect themselves from the entity that was killing their people. After they moved out to the outlying areas, the death numbers dropped considerably.

Anyone ever have anything like this happen to them, I have seen and expierienced alot more but this just popped into my head at the moment.

once when i was younger, 11 or 12, i was sharing a bed with one of my sisters and i woke up during the night and saw this black man, solid black not african-american, hovering at the foot of our bed. i thought it was a dream, but then my sister started telling everyone about a dream she had about a black man hovering at the foot of the bed. i hadn't told anyone about it, and it blew my mind.

i think i may have told this story once before on here, but im not sure.

it was a few years ago while i was in HS. i didnt have my fat dog, minnie, so my guess is it was 9th grade. lucky, my dog at the time was sleeping at the foot of my bed (thank god). i wake up all of a sudden and hear a noise.

my door is at a bit of a slant, so it does not shut properly. actually lately, ive had to prop a chair to keep it shut.

so what it was, the door was opening and shutting like an inch, open shut open shut, it didnt shut al the way, but it did push in enough to push the little deadbolt in a bit which is what was making the noise.

the thing that freaked me out, is my dog is looking at the door, barking. not the sure kind of bark, if u hav dogs u know the looks on their face, their ears, their barks... sh really wanst sure. i turned the light on. my dog jumped on the floor, approached cautiously, still the unsure bark, then i finally ran to the door and slammed it shut. ran back to my bed. heart was racing LOL

anyway, i dunno what it was. i tell meself 'it was suction' as in wind from mywindow adn coming down the hall. but hell, my parents door was closed so where was it coming from? Wo0o0o0o0o00o0

When I was 5 I had surgery For wetting the bed. They sent me home, I woke up because I felt something touch my sholder. When I look over I saw what looked like an angel. I got up turned on the light and noticed I was covered in Blood. I looked over and my bed was covered in blood. I screamed so my mom came in and took me to the hospital. I had lost enough blood to need a blood transfusion. The doctors said if I had not woke up I would have been dead by morning. So that angel saved my life.

yeah, it's a commonly known symptom of Sleep Paralysis. have a read here http://www.dreamsnightmares.com/sleepparalysis.html

A couple of friends have had minor symptoms of this dissorder, where they wake up and are unable to move or make a sound. For one of them, on a few occasions, they were looking at the open bedroom door, whilst they were frozen, and a Goblin type creature with long fingers (belived to be the Hag) was climbing up the back of the door, with it's fingers grabbing at the top of the door, in the corner of the room. It then sat on the top of the door staring down at them.

weird stuff.

The closest thing that happened to me like that is waking up from a nightmare in which my soul was being taken by my girlfriend. Inside the dream, I couldn't move. It hurt like hell. When I woke up, I did an anxiety crisis (the first ever). It would keep on hurting. The day after I ended up at the hospital where I stayed for 3 months. That's fucking scary.

I saw a big green thing in the sky a couple of weeks ago...it had bright green lights on it... falling from the sky. Very weird...I had never seen anything like that.

i just read this post right through, and i've had one of those episodes where. i was asleep, but like iwas fully aware of where i was, i knew iwas laying in bed etc. anywho i could feel this pressure on my chest and i couldn't breath or even open my eyes, it was like i was paralized.except that i could move the lower part of my legs.i kept having this sensation that this is what it must be like to be stephen hawkins..anyways. i kept on kicking my gf who was laying next to me, hoping she would wake me up....she didn't the fuckin bitch. i woke up on my own accord. my brain must have went into panic mode or something from lack of oxygen..might still have some side effects from it..hehehehehehehe. but ya it was very scarey.
