I haven't been in for a bit, so I thought I'd post SOMETHING, even if only just to see how everyone was...etc

What's everyone been watching in terms of tv, movies...etc?
Is there any gamers out there that wanna talk about anything they been playing too?

Well lets see...TV sucks..although I did catch a pretty good half hour show on the discovery channel I believe it was. It was about a creature not unlike Bigfoot spotted on occasion in Florida. It is called the Skunk Ape. Here is what is suppose to be a pic.

As far as games...I'm still playing Doom3 and Far Cry. I also played a demo for Bloodrayne 2 for the X-box that looks pretty good. Waiting for Half Life 2.:)

The Skunk Ape has been chased by cryptozoologists for years now. I don't know too much about it to be honest but it's supposed to smell pretty bad, hence the name I suppose.

I've been playing Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay on Xbox lately. It's pretty easy but it's fun to play.

I have to agree, TV sucks.

well i watched nip\tuck wwe raw and thats about it for movies i watched nightmare on elm streeet,3,4,6,7, and back to the future and lord of the rings as for games fable,halo,tekken tag touunament and devil may cry

I've been watching a new-ish show for the past few weeks here, no doubt someone in the US will have seen it already.
The show is called Cold Case...it works a little like CSI but its "different", you almost feel like you're watching 2 shows at once.
I like it, the "flashbacks" are done quite well, and it always throws you into a different time and place every time.
Creative show.
I love the parts where you see the "new" and "old" versions of the characters involved cross over into eachother...
I think it's gonna be my favourite crime drama this year.

Any thoughts, anyone?

since we are on the random topic, with halloween on the way, there is an awsome radio program that is played every year. its called ric dees' creepy country. now i know its country, but there are some awesome songs played. its a syndicated radio show, and they play it on either the sat or sunday before halloween. you should look for it, it plays across the country.

Sounds like an interesting concept. Can't say I watch much commercial TV. And ain't there like 5 different CSI's on now?

There sure SEEMS to be...I think it's more like 3...one of 'em isn't out here yet.
Cold case works a little like csi: miami (haven't seen the original), but IMO it does it much better, and the background stories are explored in much more depth.

I also liked NCIS, but haven't watched it in a while.
Cold case is still a step above that too IMO.

ive never seen cold case or CSI. i just didnt like the whole hollywood aspect. that as in, its kind of like law and order, some truth to it but they of course have to jazz it up and thats corny to me. my mom watches law and order, and it is kinda neat, but after watching the freddyfan one, i saw how much they fucked with it, they put in like 5 cases into 1 story...

but i used to watch FBI files and the new detectives on discovery channel, none of the hollywood, just the cases and the forensics in solving them. but then of course those were from like 10-12 at night and id get too freaked out. so i had to stop, lol
