Same here. I played Trombone in our Jazz band. We got 15th outta 60 which isnt bad. But our good players won first. I totally forgot what the good people were called though..

I played guitar the first 2 years of jazz band, but since we had an excess of shitty guitarist and only 1 person that knew what he was doing the third year (that being me) i had to play bass....which was kinda fun and troublesome at the same time....On the plus side....i learned how to write walking basslines now....

Yeah we didnt have a guitarist :( But we had a bassist. By the way....can you play standing bass?

Yeah some friends were in the jazz band. Mabye my school was good I don't know. I was only in band when I was young. Lead snare.

Yeah without a bow lol. I dont think i could picture you playing with one. But thats awesome. I thought about learning how to play. But im gonna stick with learning how to play guitar. For awhile i will be doing easy songs *cough* power chords *cough*

WE had a badass band. WE got like 1's in everytihgn and best overall just about everytime. i played saxophone. sorry im just proud of my band lol.
