The first episode was good. Very interesting.

However, Parker Posie looks like an idiot with a shotgun. Nothing like Sarah Conner, she looks like some skinny twig who doesnt know how to hold a shotgun.

Other than that, it had several parts where i was asking "is this a Marilyn Manson or a Tool video?"

That is a good thing. :D

Oh, and true to form, Michael masden played a creepy freak. Not really Mr Blonde, but he was in there somewhere :)

So its an actual movie in parts, then? I watched it last night, and was freaked out at the ending. I turned to my wife and said: "What the hell is that? Is this going to be a series now, or something? Surely that's not the end!" She didn't know either. Glad to hear the next part will be on tonight.

Wait a second ... what the hell??? The part I saw was part 2? I am confused. Vod's last post was made on the 11th, so that means ... maybe I watched an encore of part 1 then? The part I watched ended with the monster about to flip a coin to see if Parker Posey's character would help him or not and she grabbed his hand and said: "Screw fate." So, that's the end of part 1 right?

By the way, Parker Posey's dad owns a car dealership where I used to live in Hattiesburg, MS. It's like "Chris Posey Nissan" or something.

The fuunny thing was, my whole image of Parker Posie is defined by "Best in Show", so i cant look at her and not think of her as a neurotic dog owner with braces :D

Yeah, I was living in Hattiesburg when Best in Show came out. There was a big deal about the local girl being in this movie. Some more trivia for ya:

Lacey Chabert grew up in Purvis, MS ... a small town right outside of Hattiesburg. She actually came to Hattiesburg to sign autographs for her premier of that football movie she was in.

Brittney Spears attended high school at Parklane Academy ... a private school in the city of McComb, MS, where I teach now.

Anyhoo ... glad to see I didn't miss out on any of the show.

No, I teach in a public school. She went to a private school in the same city.

She went to a private school?!?! no way, she seems so normal :)

Yeah, those Parklane kids are nothing to get excited about. I've had a few of their rejects in classes before. Bunch of rich white kids, who don't think they need a decent education because daddy's going to buy them everything they need.

"Privileged" is such an inappropriate word for these people. i think "Spoiled" is better.

Hey guys, hate to get off subject with the private school thing and Britney but back to Frankenstein....

I only saw part one, and it was on at 2 in the morning and I missed that last 15 minutes...so I'm like ROYALLY screwed here.
So it was in two parts? Goddamn....I'm gonna need to get the DVD when it comes out.
By the way....you know, I love Parker Posey with all my heart (and other stuff) but she just CANNOT pull off being a tough detective. She's wayyy too cute. I dunno, whatsername from Resident Evil...Milla... with a shotgun....somehow I believe it. But the Dairy Queen girl??? Nope, she needs to stick to comedy.
But it was a cool story, what I saw of it. And the direction and cinematography were amazing!
