On Friday, January 4th, "One Missed Call" will claim its place as the first new horror movie of 2008. The film, a remake of Miike Takashi's "Chakushin ari", is directed by Frenchman Eric Valette (Malefique). Like the Japanese original, One Missed Call mixes modern technology with horror as characters in the movie begin receiving voice mails from the future, predicting their deaths.
